I get axles from AutoZone, the come sealed.

Most drain plugs are magnetic so that they catch fine metal shavings and keep them from going into important parts of your engine
That is a good point but I've never seen my magnet dirty so I'm not worried about it. With that being said I would've prefer if it did have a magnet.
I've used one on a 2017 outback for about 100k miles with no issue. Brilliant device, don't even have to jack up the car to change oil due to the vehicle height (car has a plastic cover that went well below the valve as well). I also had a 2011 Legacy I would never put this on because it rides too low to the ground and didn't have adequate protection. It depends - sometimes it's a great fit, other times it's a disaster waiting to happen.
I had it in my Lowered FR-S and I never had an issue.

Very few vehicles have an oil pan where this would help and I'd consider putting this bad idea on. Just take the extra 10 seconds to pull the factory provided plug. If it was something actually beneficial and worked don't you think manufacturers would transition to something similar by now? (Fords plastic plugs do not count)

Actually works and i drive bumpy ass country roads everyday. Get the metal lock tab when buying. It comes with a shitty plastic one.
Yeah great idea...untill you hit a bump and rip it out of your pan lol if you're too lazy to unscrew a bolt, you shouldnt be doing your oil change.
We have them on our units but they don’t move. For stationary vehicles I recommend not sure about moving.

You should look up this product before you say that. Toyota, Nissan, & Honda will warranty this addition to your vehicle. Fumoto valves rock! If you know you know ✌️

I just bought this same car but i am having a problem with after a short trip and if im to try starting it again shortly after that is doesn’t want to start and i have to really pump the gas to get it to turn over
Sounds like she's close to turning over. Did you try some starting fluid to see if it cranks over
No, i tried cranking it for a while longer and I was getting gas, I think the timing in the tune might be bad.

If replacing the bearing also. Can you just pull the shaft out without removing the knuckle?
I did it and I didn't have to remove the knuckle, i did have to smack the hell out of it to remove it.
I believe I only removed the top control arm and the rear toe arm. That was enough.
@tunedspec1740 my driver side shaft is stuck to the bearing and I hit it with a 3 lb sledge for like 15 minutes and nothing. So, I was gonna pull the shaft and bearing together if it will fit through the bearing hole.....🤔
Well you can only remove the axle shaft this way. Removing the bearing doesn't give you room. And now my speed abs sensor which I replaced also is throwing a code. Shit.😢
