What EXACTLY does the loopback *mix* do? I can see it records your vocal, but where exactly is that signal coming from? I can see that loopback routes and records whatever audio is actually playing on your computer through software. Is it that the loopback *mix* also adds whatever is playing through the OS system microphone as well? Alternatively, could I record loopback on one track, and record the microphone signal on a separate DAW track?

This looks really useful and the improvement in playback quality is wonderful! Now I just need to figure out how to do this in Linux...

I'm trying to get garage band to do this... so far, i have been able to get jjazzlab to talk to garage band, but I don't know if I can get it to talk to several different software instrument tracks simultaneously.... midi settings in garage band are not super-intuitive: no midi input dropdown on individual instrument tracks

Do you have to use reaper, or would the kontakt player work?

Useful video! Can I include your .ins file in the JJazzLab distribution ? Also, in your .ins file, for the drum kits annotations you should really replace all the "GM" by "XG", e.g. {{ POWER, GM }} should be {{ POWER, XG }}, because Yamaha MX drum kits are XG compatible. On some Yamaha styles it can make a big difference.

Thank you for your comment. I watched the video again in order to pay more attention to the background and I think your statement is right. Although I don't think Morocco's roads are filled with signs of toucans!

My guess is you circled the whole perimeter of the continent. You started near the horn, Somalia I'm guessing. Then you went through the atlas mountains near Morocco, then finally you ended up in Egypt?
