The fact that Sophia was sick during buttons is baffling to me

I like Manon, but I think people should give her that accountability for not taking the competition as seriously as the others. She was given way too much privilege - being absent and staying outside the dorm. It’s not fair to blame the other competitors for demanding accountability from her, I mean Sophia sucked it up just to show everyone she’s dead serious about being in the group when she still performed Buttons. Mad respect for that! But I also appreciated that Manon took accountability in the end, she asked to talk with the other girls to address the issue and Sophia and Lara spoke for the others. That to me is a healthy approach rather than sweeping things under the rug. So let us not villainize Sophia, Lara, and the other girls. It all worked out in the end, the girls look tighter than before. So stop pitting them against each other and being toxic fans. Let us support Katseye as a single unit because it has been a while since we’ve had a talented and successful global girl group!

buttons would've really solidified the debut of nayoung as well, just like manon, daniela, and sophia.

Once a group has talented members, then success all depends on the producer and creative director. Blackpink had Teddy Park for their 7 year run of success. BTS has internal producing talent to create hit after hit. NewJeans had a fresh sound with great songs/music videos like Attention, OMG, Ditto, Cool With You. Baby Monster finally found their groove with Sheesh, now they need a string of similar great songs to succeed long term. I hope the talented young women of Katseye get the right producer and songs to succeed.

I love katseye but they should add more Korean and speak Korean more since they're in the kpop category but are a global girl group, so it's fine but they should really in my opinion cuz it might be overwhelming for yoonchae since almost everyone there speaks fluent english but the members especially sofia knows how to let her join in comfortably but they can't just keep speaking English only because yoonchae might feel left out due to the Laungage barrier (please reply and tell me if the members know how to speak Korean cuz idk I commented this to know if they actually can sorry if I sounded rude or if some of y'all got offended) Note: I was not trying to be offensive or rude I typed this out of opinions and curiousity

I knew that manon would make it when I saw her final performance. Her clear singing voice, her dance skills, and charisma in her face expression. That’s when I thought, yes she’ll be in the group. At first I was a little hesitant because of her lack of experience, but at the end when I saw her poformance, I was amazed and awed I knew from day one that Lara would make it in Yoonchae, and Megan when I saw the Omg performance!!

Honestly when they put manon on the screen the first time I was like mhm she’s debuting she’s a star.

I saw a choreo video of dream academy girls and Megan served. I was like wait a min who is that.. then saw the yt video of the survival show. She really pulled me in.

Gonna get hate for this but imo if I were one of the judges I wouldn’t have chosen manon, to me she doesn’t look like she has a very strong stage presence and doesn’t have much facial expressions. She’s talented but I want to see her be more into it

In fact I didn't feel anything for Megan and Yoonchae at the beginning but I changed after Confident. Both of their dance were so cool and I kept watching it over and over again! And after Debut, Megan actually became one of my two bias (another is Lara right from the beginning). Her dance and cheerful expression won my heart.

I hope they spend more time with their vocals. As a unit being promoted to the west, vocals are more important than your dance. I want to know what they would sound like on a ballad that has a lot of harmony. I’m very intrigued by the group lol.
