Yes Sir My HOG TBCS jus arrived yesterday.....❤❤❤ LOVE IT..... with the SS Backplate n Backpad...Fantastic..
First step.. get another rope.. about 100 feet more than you had.. That’s an easy $500 😜
Thanks for the video. I thinks since it was released their is a Peregrine with air integration. The sound of this video is quite dampened. Please try to improve it. Hopefully you did a more detailed review of those computers since then.
That's awesome 👍
Very wonderful vedio sir.Basic level1 more vedio uptate in tamil.
at 5:35, was he using the ID for ascending?
Smooth.
Can you update this video, and do a direct comparison of Petzl Maestro vs CMC Clutch?
I have so many questions, but I’ll stick to one. What is the estimated battery life with those NP batteries? Also, how do you know when the battery is running low to prevent a power-off while the SDI is still connected? Thanks.
Here's a GREAT TECHNIQUE: Get rid of the ANNOYING music, so people can concentrate in the information you want to show. I don't get why so many people who post online, think that background music on an I.N.S.T.R.U.C.T.I.O.N.A.L video, is a good idea, or that ads any value.
Hey pal, thanks for the great input! I watched your videos to see what i have to aspire too, but was unfortunately let down. maybe next time, use a more constructive approach instead of being a dick! Have a great day!
Nice, im not working in rescue or anything where i need this, it is just awesome to see and learn what pulleys can do! thanks for the great video!
Thank you for showing me, early on in the video, the two safety features that the RIG doesn't have the the ID does have. Great video.
I see a certain Capt from Milton Fire in there, hard to miss based on his size.
bruh its maneuver
Good lord this is over my head. Im just trying to make a big slingshot
Why would you put all your weights on your back where they are hard to reach if you need to drop them? I can understand two small trim pockets on the top tank band, but not all your weights. It would more practical to place the bottoms on the waistband.
Bx 👍📰📚📺💪🔥🌎
Sorry for your loss, Be safe out there.
Rad Trevor! 🙌🙌
Slick!
We use the Rig to work on Climbing Towers and set/reset routes. I also have one to use while working on our roof. Thx for the video.
How come you didn’t follow any of the manufacturers instructions ? Cam band thru wing and plate . And the comfort pad … isn’t that the soft plate ?
Yes, that is the soft plate. I was thinking the same thing.
OK………………
Can easily be done without the weighty basket
I would rather let the system be locked and re-run the rope without any twist and get all confused. Or rehear the move till you get it 100% perfect before making the video.
When you pull the lever too quickly, such as after a faster descent over a window opening, and you release it, does the rapid descent stop immediately?
Yes it will stop immediately as soon as you release the handle.
@@PEGASUSRESCUE Thank you for the reply
I cannot tell which of the two devices they are talking about in many parts of the video because instead of explicitly saying the device name, they say "this, that, or thing". Plus, I don't understand checkmarks on the white board. Again, which of the two devices are they talking about?
Show the method step by step sir
It's interesting that in 100 years of competitive development of rope rescue/rigging devices there is no device that gets a awesome score in any category :). Great and honest showdown!
In two person rescue scenario, you switch from single person load descend to two person load descend, but the energy absorber connected on ASAP is for one person load only. Is there no regulation in this scenario to also switch EA from one person load backup to two person load backup? If you are using EA rated for two user backup (250kg max.) in a single person backup, is NOT safe, as well as if you are using EA rated for a single person backup (130kg max.) for two person load.
Can you use the maestro as ID to get lower friction....
Is there any chance you can do another video of this but from a different again? Like a Birds Eye view angle? Just so other viewers like myself can get a better idea from a different view. I’m not much of a side viewer, lol.
Best technical
I hope that a rescue team has EXPERIENCE enough not to go into panick mode, enough to be able to use a Rig. In a life / death situation getting someone down fast might be key - the ID fails here
So true, the ID is great but doesn’t cut it for tactical applications.
the rig isnt built for rescue . it cannot take heavy loads and can only use smaller ropes . not good for rescue at all . good for tactical operations though
A real man don't need that shit, just two carabineers
That 5:1 looks like shit. All tangled up. No presentation. Would never make it in fed fire.
And there was me thinking Canadians could spell. 🙄
Do you have time for a phone call
Yes for sure, happy to jump on a call
6:30 if your patient/victim has a clear/useable safety line, its good habit to leave it in place unless your protocol is necessary SPEED; which I noticed you were using the rig; it's a reason I use one around less experienced buddies' in case I need to hit the dirt quicker. Lol, first time I locked up an ID though (rope backwards), that was a welcomed surprise; but then again that's why you always test load a system before using it.
Well played sir! First off ty for being a firefighter my hats off to ya! Ty for that service! I’m an 8 year USMarine here and do tree work now! The Omni blocks are simply awesome!! Ty for sharing
great content thx
Super super helpful - thanks for making this!
seneca is closing the uws program. a truely sad day.
I 100% agree: shame on anyone who feels they know bette than, CMC themselves. Also, ironically: this is better...or quicker I should say, than CMC's solution of: (basically the same thing but backwards) of single to the single FIRST to the becket, then add the Double (alot more line management, the way it looked), outter lines in th double/double to the the Rescucender/triple wrap Prus.
thanks!
Awesome stuff!!!
There is no way that side plate would open during a haul especially on a 3 to one
Pity about the price :(
It seems like on the first day you motored to the top, and the second day you motored to the bottom. Why did you start from the Dokis Reserve unless they are directly involved? It would have been shorter and faster to use the access from The Lodge at Pine Cove, except for Restoule Rapids then. Five Fingers is kind of a gnarly rapid to even pretend running a canoe down, what was filmed here?
Yeah we were scouting the area from the Dokis Reserve for a film production, then we had a bunch of sequences to film on the rapids, so had to test them out for the stunt team, and the safest place to do the filming. Since we had a week for preparing the location, we took advantage of running our team through some site specific training. Never mind rafting the rapids we had to drive our big camera crane boats up and come back down in reverse with a canoe attached while they filmed the close ups of the actors, now that was challenging.
@@PEGASUSRESCUE Thank you, that explained a lot.
Love it
