Merlin is 110% the "THAT'S MY WIFE!" guy.
The Italian subtitles are _like that_ because I'm translating *the meaning* of the words, not just the literal words themselves. This is partly because of how repetitive the song is, but it's mostly because I have no idea if English idioms can be translated word-for-word into Italian or not. The same lyrics can mean multiple things in English, and I played with that when making the video. Ergo, I tried to reflect this in the translation. My grammar is likely imperfect, because I based my word choice off Spanish. But here it is!
