Just a brief up date, my chief complaint was I could not go over 85 miles an hour. The video that I showed at the time was to illustrate how to turn off the beeping sound when going over a certain speed, but I discovered is if your front magnetic struts are defective or the connections are broken, the vehicle will automatically set itself to a max speed of 85 miles an hour. If you were having this issue, I recommend that you replace your front magnetic struts this will take care of your top speed issue

The bushing part numbers are OPAB-004 and OPAB-005.

So the last kingpin thats attached to the knuckle isn’t removable right? My mechanic can’t remove so we have to buy new knuckle just to replace the lower ball joint

Fyi: Put it in "M" but don't use the shifting paddles on the steering wheel & it is in "sport mode" & will shift automatically until you use the paddle shifters, then it is in "Manual Mode". Page 9-24 & 9-31 in the 2013 xts manual.

I can be going down the road when, all of a sudden, the car beeps five times. I've looked all through the 2013 XTS owner's manual, but still can't figure out what's happening. Could that be the speed warning? Thanks!

I think this is just a speed warning feature. It has nothing to do with maximum top speed which is set by PCM.

this does not shut off or disable the speed limiter! It is for when you are cruising to warn you if you are speeding. If you have it set for 70MPH it warns you that you are speeding!!

Why was thst sensor replaced? There are so many othe causes fr P0017 code to pop.

Is that the po128 code ?

I have a 2013 XTS luxury and my speed does not cut back I've been up to 140

I have a 2017 XTS. This suggestion does not work....period. I do a lot of mechanical work on both my car and ATV btw.

2016 XTS Vsport Premium, mine tops out at 134 i believe. Don't try too often. Its the 60-110 walking thru traffic that's fun .
