Hi, I'm new to blender and I tried to follow your tutorial but when I look at the laser trajectory, the laser scatters after the first mirror and I completely lost the initial beam. I checked everything and did as you showed in your tutorial but for some reason I lost the beam at the first mirror. Has anyone had the same problem and has a solution?

Would love to eventually see this include biomechanics (animation) capability. I wonder if there's a place where we can donate to the maker? Does he have a patreon yet? He seems to kind of have disappeared a b it from the online scene?

it took 3 goes to have it work properly, since ii'm new to this kind of stuff but once i understood it enough i managed to make it work, and it worked great the animation only took like 8 minutes to render and my computer would have died doing that

Just a future note for anyone looking to render with Vagon (been looking for a render farm myself). I have a basic scene that can be rendered in 30 seconds per frame on my shitty rig I got from amazon. (RTX 3060 GPU) Im starting to think they purposely throttle performance. There's no way my crap rig can render faster than spark flame and blaze tier. I didn't try lava cause I didn't want to give them more money. If it was as fast as it says it is, I should be able to render multiple scenes within an hour, easily. However after trying multiple times, I'm starting to think it takes long so you can hit that hourly rate. Its a shame but, be warned. Have a test scene ready and try it out immediately.

Loved seeing this, as I worked with lasers & been doing 3d since 2000, , but new to Lux Core ( 5 days) & I'm just wondering if there. Is a way to get the beam a bit more realistic, less of a.red line and more like you actually see where the dust or things make it have speckles.(darker and lighter bits that change) maybe another volume with noise is how I'd try in cycles but no idea with Lux Core. Many thanks, anyway, great tutorial, well explained.

It's funny, I cannot get the system to recognize the .blend file I have saved in my Google Drive. The final line of code keeps giving me this error: Error: Cannot read file "/content/drive/MyDrive/Blender": No such file or directory Blender quit Here's the code I had before it that linked filename to my blender file: #Path of Blender File to be Rendered #=========================== filename = '/content/drive/MyDrive/Blender Render Eyeball/CLEARVIEW.blend' Any thoughts?

for anyone wondering to make this effect in CYCLES, its the same thing except you have to go into the object properties and there you will find the motion blur steps for that specific object

Bro how to check where our addon is installed in google colab. And also tell how to install flip fluids addon in colab and bake the simulation.

All other goes well but the normal map on final form in sketchfab looks odd, like pixeled lights
