FIRST REMOVE PLASTIC PIECE ON INSIDE OF NOSE CONE UP BY THE FORKS - shown partially in this video: th-cam.com/video/C7PyV_U9xSo/w-d-xo.html each side has 2 or 3 plastic poppers. Also you must take out black plastic fairing 'infix' piece on inside of indicator area in order to expose top bolt, shown in this video: th-cam.com/video/K54NaM0n-ME/w-d-xo.html

FILL UP THROUGH THE OIL DIPSTICK HOLE AT THE REAR OF THE RIGHT FLOORBOARD. This video includes changing the gearbox filter on the side of the engine. This is so easy to do you might as well change it every oil change even though Honda don’t specify that. Fitting GIVI top box rack arms. These are required if you don’t have the OEM Honda rear rack which is a (prohibitivly expensive) accessory (you will also need the Givi M5M plate in order to use Monolock topbox)

Did you connect the wire from usb and gps straight to the battery ?
they said they were going to connect the wire under the main power relay. Once the bike is off, no power will be drawn from the usb or the gps.
Hello, is this the SR1188 rack?
The arms were part number Givi '1156FZ', although it was described as 'Top Box Rack'. The plate that holds the actual top box was a Givi M5M 'Monokey top plate'.
How do we reset the maintenance message? Probably there is a need of a special tool

No. So it takes ages unfortunately

I sold the bike but yes the muffs were very good at keeping the weather off. I would buy them again.

So it actually can be driven just as regular scooter? Just throttle without using those up/down gear shifters? You can just leave it in D or S and let it change gears without you doing a thing? I like the bike, but i want scooter drive, just twist the throttle and go, i don't want to think about changing gears
Yes that’s right. You just twist and go and it changes up & down by itself. Easy!

It was indeed very strong. I have sold the bike now. I would purchase again but just drill out the bolt hole in the bracket slightly as it was difficult to fit one side.

Why is your knob very easily to rotate? Mine is so damn tight or i can’t even rotate it at all...pls advise
It is not obvious in the video but I am pushing the lever forward (away from the bar) when I am turning the knob. The lever is sprung so you can push it forwards to relieve the pressure while turning.
@@x-adv750 Yeah i’ve just learnt that the lever need to be push forward in order to rotate the knob... Thank you for sharing 👍🏻

Thanks for taking the time to post these videos. It is now time for me to replace chain and sprockets and I am certainly not looking forward to it. Removal of all this bodywork is one of the worst aspects of owning this bike. As You say if the designers had to work on the bike they might be more considerate. Thanks again

Is adv150 and xadv750 top box bracket is the same??
no it is different shape. ADV150 part number is SRV v2 it would seem. Baseplate looks the same though.
Hey i whant to ask you something do you also have problems with your ecu when it gets verry hot that it will switch into limp mode and dont switch gear anymore can you show me where the ecu is
yes it did do that once. There is a Honda recall for it. they shield one of the sensors from heat. so contact Honda dealer and complain, they will fix it.
