How To Texture a Crossbow | Reference Breakdown #01
The first thing we learn when we start practicing any kind of art is that references are extremely important.
I'm sure you are all tired to hear that, but how do we break down and understand these references? And from a texture artist's point of view, how do we decide what kind of masks or textures we are going to use?
In today's video, I am going to analyze and breakdown references of a beautiful 15th-century crossbow and talk about how I would approach an asset like that in a production environment.
