Pro way to Season aluminum pan ✔️ FULL restoration and Seasoning
มุมมอง 12Kปีที่แล้ว
I tried to show you how to properly season an aluminium pan. Seasoning is a very simple process. You just need to follow some basic rules.I explained in full detail how to season , the theory behind seasoning. It is a long video .I wanted to show you the full process.Think of it as a full tutorial. I used the stove top method.( you can use the oven method. It takes longer). The best way to seas...

    The Finnished product was nice. Keep up the good work. I was a little concerned about the square nuts. That wrench was way too big. I kept waiting for it slip. Also, use a screwdiver that fits the slot.

    👍it's fine, very good restoration, but I would have liked, if I were the owner of the equipment, for it to have the same factory colors.📟

      @OldToolRestorations 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I'm very glad you liked it. I'm also in favor of it being the same color. It's more ideal to have it factory-made. However, this channel is not just for restoration, it's also for the items I have completed in a way that is most suitable for my use. I converted it because it was suitable for my warehouse. I'm very glad you liked it. Thank you.❤

    LEAD TEST THE PAINT You put yourself at risk of lead poisoning, you risk contaminating the local environment. Lead test kits are cheap. Your health is priceless. Two thumbs down for that omission. Remember this... Some inexperienced person may view your videos as tutorials. You place other people at risk by not making sure they know that painted items need to be lead tested first. 👎👎

    Tip… use the correct tools. I.e. The screwdriver should’ve been very snug in the screw head and the full width of the slot. Anything that’s smaller will always try to rise out of the slot and cause damage to the head.

    • @OldToolRestorations
      @OldToolRestorations หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there.The metal of the handle bends before the vise is broken.In this model you cant remove the handle.(To remove it I had to cut it).I didnot want to change the handle.Onthis channel I restore tools for my main restoration channel.I want them to be usable.( not for just aesthetics).Maybe I should have tried to straighten it a little on the vise.❤️❤️

    a nice vice worth restoring, and not beeing negative here just wondering. Why you didnt just put all of it in a tub with diesel or something like that to get rid of all the muck, or why not blasted it from the start? it would have saved you alot of work and saved that toothbrush that to be fair isnt made for this kind of work. from my point of view you made it harder then it had to be to clean that vice and im just wondering why. and as someone who also paints both small and bigger objects with a airbrush i would recommend either a different sized needle and noozle for better coverage so you dont have to go back and forth with the gun as much. im guessing you are using a 0,3mm needle so i would try to find a 0,5mm needle and nozzle now i know ive sounded negative and thats not my intention, my intention is to give you "food for thought" so later on you make it easier on yourself. i think the vice came out nice with all that elbowgreace you put in.

    • @OldToolRestorations
      @OldToolRestorations หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for taking your time and writing this comment.The chemicals I use are much stronger than diesel.(the vise is too old.That is why the grease didnot come off easily.).I also have bigger paintbrushes.Bigger ones spray more paint.I wanted a very thin layer of paint. (To prevent the paint from chipping off when the vise is hit.).You guessed the needle size right :).I thinned the paint for 0.3 needle.(2K auto paint).Thanks for watching. ❤️❤️

    Why does this vid remind me of the way they do this in india where its all filmed in sections and put together backwards to create the illusion of a start to finish restoration when in reallity they started with a working item ??????????????? Ive never seen the board on any electrical device be that new after a clean without any track damage, not to mention how clean and new the inside of the case looks ,,,,,, to new lookin m8 oh and dont forget to spray it for extra effect at the end ...... Rust on the pins outside but no rust on pins on otherside of the connectors for the voltage sense wires >>>>>>>looks like it was just burried in the back garden for a month !!!!

    • @OldToolRestorations
      @OldToolRestorations หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know it looks fake.On this channel I repair-restore tools for my other restoration channel.I was also shocked when I opened it.(you can check it too.there was spiders nets inside).I dont shoot fake videos.I restore objects just for fun.The board is covered with lacquer.It prevented it getting damage from moisture.Case is aliminum.there is no rust outside or inside.(it is just mud).tracks are made of copper.(does not rust)I dont think this device stayed outside for a long time.maybe two ot three months top.You can see other repair videos online they use ultrasonic to clean boards.(They also look like new.I just followed their instructions).Thanks for taking your time and commenting.❤️❤️❤️
