As i’m watching the video, charge stance and Valiant Roar have 2 different effects from my understanding. The former buffs fire type attack by 100% but crucially, Valiant roar has different wording. It says “party’s damage inflicted with fire type +100%”. This makes me think that these stack and do not have diminishing returns which is BONKERS

Hey Crono! Love the videos! There's a couple of things that I noted while watching the vid. 1. Iphi gives the party Lunatic Risktaker, not Mind's Eye. Also, I know you weren't using AF but she does have a fire ability that you can spam instead of her shade ability to help keep the gauge up. 2. The prayer effect was never up, or at the very least it was up for barely any time, because of the Lunatic Risktaker. Prayer falls off as soon as the character takes damage. Minalca was never benefitting because she attacked after prayer was up, and then it was lost at the beginning of the next turn because of her passive that damages everybody. Rufus was also losing it every time he used an attacking move because he would take damage from Iphi's Risktaker.

I have nothing of value to add, you use her exactly like I do! Once you read her skills description, she actually becomes quite a straightforward character, and quite an efficient one at that!

This chapter 2 was pretty straightforward, but enjoyable all the same! Honourable mention to the bamboo grove for its visual and sound design, I really liked exploring it for these reasons. Thanks for the video!

Fishing is one of the worst part of the game. I get that it's old now, and probably won't be updated, but honestly,, I wouldn't say no to a future update for new players easing this process. Just because we had to suffer doesn't mean they have to 😅

Fishing--Yeah, not the most exciting activity. But I managed to get NS/AS Levia 4 months ago when I realized I was only 20 Fish Stones away from getting the Dimensional Hook. I noticed that when you're fishing, I hear you mashing the button when the fish bites. Try this instead. When the fish bites, hold down your mouse button. Let go when you either catch your fish or the fish gets away. Use sound cues also to determine when the fish bites, you catch one, or one gets away. This reduces finger exhaustion and bait waste (Those Crab Cakes that only work in Last Island are expensive, you don't really want to waste that bait). Now you can do something else while fishing, like watch a TV show or movie so you don't die from boredom. 😄

Regarding that win team bro, Im using Sesta/Es Tsukiha/Es Sigure. Should i replace Tsukiha with Suzette ? And any idea for a 4th member i should go for ? Great vid as always btw!

Stellar awakenings are extremely hard to come by. Would you say shes worth it for a f2p ?

Sesta is easily the MVP of AE. She's so strong and useful, almost brokenly so, that getting new characters is almost irrelevant. I no longer have a need to have so many different teams, Sesta plows through literally everything or almost. There are just a few specifically anti-Sesta bosses now that can hold her off, but that's it.

This was useful information, thank you! When I get around to build a real fire team, I'll try first with the characters i have. But I'll keep in mind Ewan is always here if I wanna try his SA

Interesting thing about her kit : while Glace Miséricorde is great for damage, I sometimes swap it out. She has one skill that buffs the party's defense, and depending on the boss, it can make all the difference. Could not have beaten Lavog without that one!

(also, love how your character development team is just named after the channel)

I also gear her for support. With my Water Team composed of Ilulu Alter, Elseal, Dunarith Alter and Felmina ES, i can reach high score in Astral Archive to get the last reward in several fights when Water is a recommended trait. Very happy about her gameplay, she's great! And as a bonus, her quests are fun too.

Oh this moth is just not fun and I finally beat him after waiting several months. I used Iphi, AS Yipha, and AS Radias for support. To get around his type attack aura, I used 5* Benedict with Elpis Ax, the generic pain/poison setup, with NS Renri as the grasta mule with Power of Void (Ax) + Enh w/ Low HP (Ax). I kept not doing enough damage and I think Iphi's Rosa Liliac + Nocturnal Procession and AS Yipha's giant Faith buff made the difference. Thysia (or I guess players at the time used Kumos) was needed to keep Benny's MP up, as his Max MP is so low. AS Yipha buffed the f out of him with Faith + Beannacht Bua and AS Radias did Radias things with Overwhelm and I used Chivalry one time (really got scared on Turn 5, because WM usually kills me that turn with Wing Blast, his AoE wind spell). It's too bad you can't rematch him, you probably could cheese WM by now with Xianhua.

quit a long time ago on this stupid game ever since they started the 3rd transformation (some big ass hammer girl who has golem) as it is getting ridiculous, one character with so many custume but can only use 1 at a time, garbage !

I just awakened Melissa. I already have Ewan and Bertrand awakened. Ewan is insanely powerful.

For Suzette, the normal Bolt of Bahamut actually consumes only 1 Ancient Despair among the whole party. (Randomly chosen.)

I found Ewan setup without SA kinda clunky - you still need to get him above 50% hp somehow, otherwise lava impact doesn't proc extra attacks on turn 2. I also got Lingli AS, and she can do some funny numbers aswell.

Hi, I’m still confused. How do you level up your crystal rod so you can gain access to level 2 field magic?

This was the bullshitest boss of them all, so far. Holy moly, in the end i just used Melina and Shanie again to not die (misstimed 1 hp stopper, didn't care, Shanie took like 3k damage) and slowly killed him with Shion and abs Shigure. Having to use both cyclone immunity and rage skill on Shanie made me realise just how much dps malediction adds, took me like 8 turns.

I was using Otoha AS for the longest time, until I got Sesta and became able to farm without MP. I'm using Azami in the active team, that leaves me a free spot in the reserve for levelling. And since reading a comment on a recent video here, I've been using Tsukiha AS, for a free Pain. It works well for me, and leaves 2 spot in the back free

This will take a bit of time to set up, but in the long run, it'll be a huge time saver

I wish the badge list had categories like grasta, scrolling to the exp badges over and over is going to give me an aneurysm. And you can't even help it with sets, cuz you equip it once and just phase shift to 80.

Just watched the part about the Thunder team. I'm willing to give it a go, I have everything except the Stellar Awakening for Oboro. So far, my DPS was Miyu, and while that works for older bosses, Lavog (always him) resists me to this day. I hope not having the extra stats and skills from Oboro won't be too detrimental. Will try during the weekend

I was trying to copy Azami AS strat for this, it was painful, didn't have a prof debuff res grasta for her and some other stuff. Figured, maybe it's to early, barely played 2 month. Gave it one last go with my brute force shade team and the squid flopped to Yakumo + Wenefica death curse. I dunno why i was overthinking this so much.

For the Thunder comp do you have alternative for orleya? idont have her atm.

You should use her against tshukia true mani fight

u can also just do tilli, use her Promise land and use shatterglass from Felmina ES and xin with her Horizon. It oneshots almost every normal mob+Horrors. I only had to use AF on 1 Horror i believe but cant remember since iam pretty much done with farming.

I like to use Otoha AS if you have her in the backline for the Katana user, as then you never need to worry about MP/HP since she recovers you all after each battle by generally more than you will ever use with a one/two turn farm team.

Do you think it's worth farming Strawboy light? I do a few phase shifts a day if i don't feel like doing any episodes (happened a lot while i was dealing with time mine, the damn COAL lol). Currently i have 240 shadow on my green team, idk, maybe i'll get 360 before strawboy would make any difference and i would rather level up characters that i could use instead. Also, smh my head, i used the repeat button and never realised there's also a save option.

We have a really similar way to use her, down to her placement in the team! I think Soira could be more useful in very specific occasions, as you mentioned the Rage mechanism isn't without faults, but otherwise, she's an amazing tank
