Tips for Navigating the Darker Months
As the darker months approach and the days feel shorter many of us can struggle with this change in lights and also routine. Some people may have to leave for work in darkness and return home in darkness. Through this podcast my intention is to share some ideas so that we can learn to love this time of year. Release the overwhelm and low moods and nestle into what has the potential to be a beautiful and introspective period.

Inspite all of your efforts videos are not being viewed. Video SEO Score is very low. The title, Description, and Tags are not SEO-friendly. Susi, I can't tell you how much love, empathy, support I have for you, YOU Inspire me, you remind me that it's okay to not be okay, it's okay to talk about how u feel, its okay to say you know what I feel shit and I need time out to look after me. In a world where he have many beautiful things and people in our life to be thankful for. When I have not been feeling great at all, I've often been told but look what you have in your life, Feelings straight away dismissed, so u put those feelings back in a box and feel u are a selfish person, which isn't true at all. I know what I have in my life and I am so grateful and thankful for every single bit of it. What I needed was someone to say I hear u and I am with you or say nothing and just cuddle me, tell me I will be okay. When your a person that loves to help others, would give people ur last, make sure there okay, u can loose urself because ur always thinking of others needs. Then the burnout comes. Can be mentally, emotionally or physically. In those times we question things, we learn, try new things, we find the answers, we need people around us to be patient with us, love and support us. Opening up like you do, helps people, inspires people, reminds us that it is okay to not have our shit together 24/7. And lastly we get to hear and see what helped you and is helping you, this also could be a life line to many. Love you with all my heart 💙💜 💙 💜

So pleased you found it helpful. Building resilience in children is similar a great thing is to allow children to fail. Support the opportunity of learning. Ask your children at the dinner table what is something new you tried today? What didn't go well today? How did you handle that? What went well today? Celebrate persistance and consistency. Playing games that will allow them to push themselves a little and fail will be good. Have fun with it. Failure is part of life and its important our children are not protected from this but are shown how to bounce back from it. Learn the lessons etc. Have a conversation about it, any opportunities to highlight it discuss it. Use yourself as an example. Engage your child in what interests them, sport, games, crafts. Do activities that require time to build the skills.
