Moving to Phoenix (Maricopa County) is the same as moving to Los Angeles. Extremely crowded, homeless, crime, and very liberal. Maricopa is also the 4th largest county in the nation which is why the entire state turned blue. If someone is seriously considering Arizona, they may want to look at other counties.

Born and raised in Phoenix, and the city is becoming harder to live in. The cost of living, crime, and homelessness have all skyrocketed. It’s turning into LA, but with worse heat. I honestly don’t know how we still live here. I find Old Town Scottsdale overrated, with its lavish but bland nightlife that caters to a specific crowd, unlike other more casual and inviting places.

If you were to give America an enema youd stick it in Phoenix. Its just another big city with big city problems just out in the middle of a god forsaken hell on earth desert. Im not sure what the draw is. Really overated. The honeymoon stage wears out quick after moving here. If you're into fentynal its a paradise though.

Actually in my town there is hate towards CA. People are scared to say to they from CA where I'm at. Even people traveling with rental car CA license plates they cover them up.

You never no matter how many years you live here, are "HOME", your still forever visiting. No friendly neighbors, or friends, or friendly neighborhoods, just constant shuffling of new people moving in, moving out, moving on. Everyone is a stranger. " Oh,,,you want to get off at your interstate exit ,,,,well not in front of me your not, I have new BMW, you don't. Welcome to Phoenix. You won't love it.

When I look at homes on Zillow, it looks like many homes are part of 55+ communities and thus age restricted. It's hard to filter out those when searching online.
