Really happy about this one. It took a while to get right.

A weird sort of fantasy / prelude. A few nice ideas got dropped into this one.

Hello Deceptive Cadence! I like the theme of your bagatelle and I was wondering if I could use it to write a set of variations(I will credit you for the theme). If yes, you may find the composition later on my channel, if not that's ok. Keep it up!
I would be deeply complimented. Yes, please, by all means go ahead and run with it!
I like how it modulated
Thank you. All that Bach learnin' might finally be teaching me something.
A beautiful and great composition! I like it very much! Thanks for uploading! Greetings from Germany!
Thank you! Hello Germany!
Nice composition! Im just a little confused towards the end as to why you have the right hand in bass clef and left hand in treble clef. I understand wanting to keep the melody in the right hand, but here it would make more sense from a performance perspective to have the left hand play the melody so the hands dont have to reach over each other. Excellent work though
@@markharris6066 when I wrote it I was playing it as written. Crossing arms isn’t uncommon on the piano.
why is there so little views? We are cooked
@@950name I don’t really think about the views. I post videos of my scores to archive them for safe keeping. And I have a small number of subscribers that seem to enjoy my music. That’s good enough for me.
Nice
@@Dylan_1344 thank you!

Very good, this little tune is indeed very sweet.
Thank you!
Good job 👏
Thank you!
Awesome
Do I recognize the dulcet tones of musescore’s default organ? I’m curious, how did you develop this chorale melody?
It’s Sibelius. The beginning motif is lifted from the Allegro assai of Mozart’s K457. Staying in Cm I sketched out a chord progression that kept me in pretty standard baroque harmony, and used chord tones for much of the rest, with passing tones here and there.
Maybe the organs have a common ancestor. Keep up the good work! :)
Don’t do 8va for flutes, the octave fingers aren’t the same and they’re very used to reading ledger lines
The score in this video (and pretty much all my other videos) reflect what works best for my notation software, not what works best for performance. A printed copy given to a flautist would have used ledger lines instead.

Sounds creepy
I love this so so much ❤
This is a beautiful tribute, I hope that you and the person that you lost can be at peace ♥
Thank you very much.
These are great!
Thank you!
what app/software is this?
Sibelius. It’s a bit of a bear to learn the interface but it’s easier on the wallet than some of the other notation software and the samples for most of the instruments aren’t…terrible.
this would sound good if you turned it into a fugue
but this still sounds very good
what app did you use?
Sibelius.
Very nice
Thank you!
i was bored and clicked on this and wow that was really nice, i really enjoyed the ending. also btw i feel like videos that have the sheet music as the thumbnail often get more views, but that might just be speculation.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. The thumbnails without the imagery are probably older pieces, so they acquire more viewers over time. But I don’t really pay attention to that anyway. Please feel free to browse around and listen to more!
A charming little piece!
Thank you!
Beautiful.
Thank you mom
Love you.
Good tune. I like it.
Very pretty.
Thank you! 😊
