Im getting one!!! Your music is amazing!!!! 4 years late..
@@qtthagod Awesome!! Thank you so much! 🙌🏻
I’m listening and watching through a iPhone and I can hear the difference big time!! More weight and shimmer in the high end! Definitely smoother transients and depth!! I have the Dione Starlight so my ears are used to it. But that said, the mix translates very well on my iPhone. Well done
@@jamesrobinson3rdCoast Excellent! Thank you so much!
Thanks! Now I know its definetely not for me :D
Nice, digging it.
🙌🏼
Nice, I appreciate the before and after clips. Thanks!
Thank you! Glad to hear
Btw that's not P 3 P B - it's pronounce Razriv (Effect of a broken cable). 3 it's Russian "Z" . B - "V" 😊
sweet job I watched the whole thing
Thank you this was very helpful.
Love to hear that! Would love to see a case if you finish making one!
@@Nematomusic Just planning now maybe in a year I will have something still trying figure out which I want to go with things
Smart!
Fantastic! The gas is real dude 😅
very nice demo thanks
Ayo this guy is fire!! Wtf
what about...some musical examples? o.O
Roasted 🥲
Do you have to press the buttons really hard or do I have a faulty unit?
With the Golden Master pedal or the Ground Control sequencer? I can’t say I felt any difficulty with the pedal buttons, but certainly the keys on the sequencer are firmer than I was anticipating!
@@Nematomusic appreciate the response… I meant the pedal. I literally have to pick up the pedal & press with both hands to change modes!
@wimeik oh wow! Definitely sounds like something’s gotten stuck or messed up with the button then. I’d hit up Endorphin.es and they’ll probably get it fixed up for you!
Looks essential to patch from the bottom up otherwise you’re not going to be able to adjust those pan knobs by hand!!! The saturation/ overdrive sounds great though. Actualily got a lot more going on hear 👂 than I first suspected
Definitely agree with you on all points!
This video seemed a bit lazy but maybe I'm just new to the channel. Didn't learn much. The track was nice though
@@vertigev Just trying to highlight the sound with versatile electronic instruments without taking too long. Linked a couple great in depth videos in the description. Thanks for watching/listening!

I'm thinking of buying the Make Noise skiff but wondering how annoying the sliding nuts are. Worth it to look at another case with threaded strips (all I've used before)?
@@soundwithoutsoundbutwithso7884 I won't lie, when you're shifting modules around regularly they can be a bit of a hassle. If you find another case for a good price that has the threaded strips it'll make life more convenient for sure! But I love Make Noise as a company and their modules so happy to support them either way!
@@Nematomusic Thanks!
in snare sample patch env out sent to basimilus trigger in?
Thanks for the demo. I do rely on the DAW (alongside my Scan & Pan) for spatialisation and one thing I do to avoid having to automate each sound, is to create a bunch of empty audio tracks and pan each of them separately. For instance the first one is 100% left, the second one 75% left, 50% left 25% left etc. and the same for the right. I actually use Goodhertz Panpot because it offers a few more spatial options and I ofter use more and smaller intervals than what I wrote above. Group as you like to maintain overview. This way I have a set framework to throw audio into, rather than having to do the automation thing.
Jesus Christ! What a great channel. Thank you for the Batimi tips!
@@xnaut_g thank you! It's been a while, but there will be more coming soon! In contact with another eurorack company 🤘🏻
Equipment matters to a degree but based off your investment it works for you and that's all that matters I've always mixed in the box about 20 yrs and I'm about to go very analog 😂and still use plug-ins as well Anyway back to the comment F@xk him
Wtf, it's not a modular, it's just daw in boxes
nice studio dude :o
@@grimel666 Thanks! ✌🏼
this is sooo sick what gear do you use for djing?
Thanks! Primarily have my rig setup using 2 of the 1010music Blackbox samplers and then routing audio through various eurorack effects modules
not automating limiter/compressor on those big peak moments is a big red flag
Definitely felt rushed! It's one thing to have minor disagreements about balance of instrumentation, but technical issues that pull you out of the song from a pursuit of loudness or just laziness is definitely not encouraging from a mastering engineer!
I don’t even know exactly what gear you have but today you don’t need expensive gear to get an excellent mix and end product. I started multitracking with 2 tape recorders in the early 80’s and that learning experience got me great sounding demos on a Fostek 4 track machine. Experiment and use your ears and intuition and you’ll get the results you want.
Exactly! Many pieces to the whole finished puzzle, and creativity/quality shouldn't be limited by budget when experience/skill can be a much larger factor.
god that outro jam was beautiful
Thank you! ✨
Love it! Been using mine a bunch for processing drum fills.. getting the timing to be "almost" in tune with source material plus a lil bit of decimation makes some great stuff. Keep 'em coming 👌🏼
This is Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I'm glad I filmed this set!
lol this is a really old video, but it made me like and subscribe. This filter rules!
The guys at XAOC pronounce it “chaos” and it says that in the owners manuals as well. So I just go with that. Also they pronounce it like “Zahdar”
XAOC in Cyrillic is "Chaos"
I pair mine with a Mystic Circuits ANA. Zadar gets wild with analogue logic.
Very nice exploratory journey! Greetings from Macedonia
Man is bumpin I might need some of this
Absolutely! Thanks man!
I CAN MASTER FOR YOU FREE I DO HIGH END MASTERING..
I paused the video and here’s my thoughts on that comment before watching the rest of the video. If people are looking to work with you for access to your gear; they’re leaning on silver bullet solutions. Great mastering starts, happens and ends with the ability of the engineer to connect with the mix and the client. I know plenty of engineers with top tier gear, but no interpersonal skills or ability to work towards a sound with their client. I know plenty of top tier engineers working COMPLETELY in the box, with great results because they're on "team client". Post video comments (I watched this start to end btw ;) ) Your humility is great! ~ This is very level headed and good insight / discussion.
Well said! Every engineer still needs to have some collection of tools to do their job effectively, but silver bullets detract from pushing the envelope forward for many of us looking for interesting methods that just may be more effective for one/multiple projects for the artists we work with. I appreciate the support! Very inspired by your consistent pursuit of creative techniques / technical audio knowledge and being willing to share your findings! A happy subscriber to your newsletter here! Cheers man! :D
Manual focus / lock my dear... 🤓
This guy Who wrote the post obviously doesn't know engineering very well, Or What it takes for different bands music for that matter. The facts are the best most expensive stuff. Do not give you the best sound. It never has. Look. At nirvana never mind. Arguably one of the best albums in history. Their engineer and producer Had equipment. He got second hand from churches. Different years of different amps and gear You could have two of the same thing and two different sounds. And the truth is it's whatever sound works best for that band and that music. For 1 band They might get the best possible sound for 1 specific song out of an old crate Amp And a microphone from the 90s. For another band it might be something new from the year 2005. It's all about vintage sound. You will never truly get that from something brand new. Nothing can replace a piece of sand floating around in an amp. Ect. A lot of the new stuff The poster is talking about. You can only do so much with it
I think it’s better to invest in quality amps and instruments than fancy analogue audio gear aside from maybe a compressor and a decent preamp. Musicians don’t always have the best gear
So true 😎
Thank you! 😅
I don't comment a lot in social media but... I get the same comment quite time ago. I think this type of comment is more about audiophile thing - doesn't matter how it sound but on what / trough (gear) its played. If I can give You any advice is to not sweat it and move on as fast as its possible (don't make my mistake and analyze it too much). Edit: As I moved forward in "pro audio" nobody asks what gear did You used but how it sounds.
100% ! Thanks for the comment.
Selecting a mixing and mastering engineer shouldn’t be about the equipment or software he uses. It’s about his expertise and to which extent he can improve your final track.
Good to hear you agree! Sound above all in the end regardless of the tools 👌🏼
There's a lot of us that share the same fantasy of being heard, being signed, or getting synced up, but money segregates the playing field. I'm barely making ends meet and can't do more because I need to be a father to, and most folks have other reasons they can't progress financially. At the end of the day, the struggling producers need to keep learning and "mastering" the use of the tools available to them, while the rest push a couple of icons and toss cash at promo tools. I personally have been struggling with getting my mix and master to "pro" levels, and my genre is definitely NOT popular, (the data tells the story,) and knowing that will keep your perspectives healthy, so you don't lose your mind and grasp on reality, which a lot of composers do. At the end of the day, it's going to be the same as everyone else says, and that's, do it for you first. Do it for the love of it. Pursue opportunities. If it leads you to one, take advantage, because opportunities are becoming rare with the overwhelming amount of "in the box" home producers flooding the market. 💙🤘
Well said! Don't lose sight of the enjoyment/passion
What desk is that?
Built it myself modeled after the Dangerfox desks!
2:53 That kick is insane. My HD 6XX don't have tight lows at all, and this kick still sounds so tight and punchy, I feel it in my chest.
😂 Thank you!
It’s been an absolute blast working with you dude. Your work has transformed our mixes!!
🖤 Looking forward to the whole album being released! 🤘🏻 You know where to find me for any future projects too man!!
