I’m trying to learn the piece but I think I was a wee bit ignorant towards how hard it is, do you have any tips to practice? Especially the chords?
@@practice40hours well it's a pretty hard arrangement, but I would say for double stops and chords try to teach the fingers to be in tune related to other finger. (If you have the top note secure teach the other finger the proper distance, instead of try to tune both notes at the same time) 💪

Ahhh, I remember this piece... Was my first introduction to Vivaldi as a somewhat arrogant teen, and he taught me a very good lesson in humility. A tough, but important lesson to learn. I feel that in most of Vivaldi's pieces - they always taught me something tough, but important. By the time I got to Winter I was both scared and excited to see what he'd throw at me THIS time! You did a wonderful job, better than I, even at my best. Thank you, sir, it was a delight to hear. And to all those learning this piece for the first time - don't despair if you struggle. Vivaldi is just teaching you something, that's all. Keep at it! You can do it!

Hace unos años, cuando empezaba a avanzar en el violín, mi profesora me dio a escoger una pieza y yo elegí esta. Por la pandemia se me dificultó mejorar mi técnica porque fue en línea, me deprimí y dejé el violín. Quiero retomarlo y tú video me dio ánimos. Tocas muy hermoso. Me hiciste extrañar esas clases, a mi profesora, y su forma de enseñarme, era tan cautivadora y nunca lo aproveché como debí. ❤
At 1:43 the music says to play 2 Gs but you play a D and then a G, did you think no one would notice
Haha you almost got it right. I actually played 2 Gs in different octaves. (One in D string and the other open string).

@@Cam-vf2yv Hi, thank you! Well it depends what is the audition for, is a nice concerto for the first position, but is one of the first concertos that you learn when you are studying violin.

@@Cam-vf2yv the best piece that you can play is something that is within your technical abilities. Don't try to play something too hard, it's better to play something that you can do it good than something complicated not very nice.

What concert should I learn after this? 
@@mauriciolujan9008 it depends if you want to keep playing first position (I would play Rieding Op. 34 or Op. 36) Or move to third position (Kuchler Op. 15 and then Vivaldi A minor)
