I liked the naruto anime original episodes, most of them.

bro started talking about fillers naruto and bleach have you ever seen doctor connan its 441 episode of fillers man 400 episode it is longer than bleach itself and ive watched them all so now filler sin actually good anime dont even bother me at all its even fun to watch some bleach fillers are great same for naruto

I was kinda dumb that they set up Lucifer as the big next evil guy and just casually cut off halfway. Yukio's dormant devil powers were kept in the dark, Rin didn't grow at all, like this whole plot of this season did not end with a bang like it usually does.

After watching the final episode of Kimetsu no Yaiba I am retroactively bumping it up a tier. This season was short and uneventful (for the most part), but the sheer visual spectacle was stunning. I will never doubt Ufotable again 😂

Yikes that dislike ratio. Maybe don't use that title when you rank less than 10 shows from a season.

I tried all the shonen + demon slayer but it just cant click with me for some reason idk why JJK did and CSM did, but anything else really just feels kinda repetitive. The execution of all these shonens are the same if not mindless combat, same could be said for jjk but the power system is good and the fights are fun to read/watch.

I swear this pretty much sums up everything I was thinking. It isn't the content that is the problem. it is the BALANCE between the worldbuilding-character development-story progression that is way out of wack here. Something they had previously had spot-on for the last two seasons--it kinda feels like buying your favorite car new for the third time, having expectations, but now this one only has 4 cylinder engine but is AWD (why?) yet the paint is shiny as ever (slime blue). We love slime, but we need that magic balance back!! begging here...

Very fun video as always. Now I know I recommended Loser Ranger, but I do want to say that you should probably try the manga from the beginning if you're interested. The anime is unfortunately going through the Bailong arc at breakneck speed, so the pacing feels off, and the structure feels a bit awkward. I would talk about how exactly the adaptation fails imo but I don't want to make this comment too long. We should be getting cour 2/season 2 some time next year and the content isn't as hard to adapt, so this issue should be fixed hopefully. Very glad you enjoyed it anyway though :) I also agree with your thoughts on Dungeon Meshi, it was such a fun and interesting show in many ways and I absolutely cannot wait for Season 2, which should be fully adapting the manga if it's the same length as S1. Once again, great video, always enjoy hearing your thoughts.

Men beating on eachother's meat :D In regards to Mushoku Tensei, I've read 21 volumes of the LN and I regret ever starting it lol. It does absolutely nothing in terms of Rudeus redeeming himself. Also half of it is filler to bring up the volume count. I loved it in the beginning, but every since the Begaritt continent arc ended it has only gone slowly downhill. I wish I realized it earlier, because now i'm so far that I might as well commit to finishing it. In regards to Kaiju #8, Shinomiya best girl frfr. She gets great character development later on, and is easily my favorite character in the series.

Besides what you said, I hate how in Mushoku Tensei characters don't really exist outside of Rudeus. If they don't interact with him, they just fall out of the story and get forgotten. Also, what are these "romantic relationships"? I can see it working with Eris, but the other two? Rudeus didn't spend much time with them, nor was there much intimacy. This is just some "school crush" stuff here, like Subaru has with Emilia.

I generally agree with this list tho I will add "yuru camp 3", "Duke of death and maid 3" and "black Butler public school arc" to S tier Add "reincarnated as 7th Prince" "jellyfish can't swim at night" to A tier. I'm also one of those people that hate dungeon meshi and think it's one of the most boring shit ever. 😂 I'd also put demon slayer at B+ just because the anime original content adds so much compared to the manga.

This book was wild! You get built up to such a wonderful point, and just when you think the arc is going to end okay, the author kicks you right in the nuts and says “See ya’ in book 10!”

Tensura got no stakes, mc side is so powerful the opps feels incompetent and mc's side gets everything handed to them without doing anything

I don't mind it at times, but this is the reason why when reading the manga, my undying obsession and love for slime was slaughtered. I also manage to easily forget certain things.

It's like JJK, but at least Wind Breaker seemingly doesn't try to pass as deeper than it actually is lol. It works VERY well, people like to see cool characters throwing hands, and that generally seems to be enough.

There is a plot, it’s a coming of age story where a boy learns that he doesn’t have to do everything alone and shoulder all the responsibilities himself, he goes from being someone who can’t delegate at all and needing to conquer everything on his own, to someone who finds strength in numbers and realizes that you can fight better when you have someone to fight for other than yourself

The one guy with the wano 1 1's was throwing double leg shots so I think there will be ground fighters, also there is absolutely a plot even if the setting is unrealistic as hell

I guess no one here has watched Dragonball Z which is 20 minutes of yapping and a minute of tense action. TBF thats still a lot of animation.

If anything, Ygdrassil sounds like a terrible game with all the information we have on it. But that actually kinda makes sense if you consider the backstory for the series. The earth where Ainz originally came from is not our earth, it's a dystopian future earth that pretty much exacerbates all the issues with out current earth. It's polluted as hell, corporations own everything and the people are worked like slaves with poor conditions and working hours. In a world like that it makes sense video games also went in the same direction with more predatory microtransactions trying to get all your money if you want to get anywhere in the game. The thing is, this is also a game that was shutting down right before the isekai happened. Which if the game was so bad would actually make a lot of sense too. So Ygdrassil being bad is most likely intentional from what I can tell. It just happened to be the game our protagonist was addicted to.

It's overboard but I guess world items is still somewhat acceptable by the fact that it's almost impossible to attain them. The only reason nazarick has 11 is because they are hardcore players with nothing else to do. No stakes for nazarick is definitely the most common criticism of overlord. I understand why people dislike overlord for this as pretty much every other series in existence use stakes for tension (except of course series with OP MC) Imo, No stakes isn't necessarily a bad thing. A series can still deliver a good and engaging story and characters despite low stakes by compensating it with other aspects of the show for example, one punch man compensate no stakes with comedy, peerless art and great action. I'd argue overlord is among series with OP MC and no stakes that works like OPM. All the more when overlord compensate no stake with presenting the stakes towards side characters, worldbuilding and good side characters. Plus personally, I'm tired of series with "good guys fighting against all odds" trope and I welcome the bad guys stomping on the good guys..... Which is what overlord exactly is Thus, the reason why no stakes for nazarick works for me is because, If I want story with stakes towards the good guys, there are thousands of those. if I want a story with no stakes towards the good guys, there are thousands of those. BUT, if I want a series with no stakes for the bad guys, there is only one which is overlord. Overlord is unique indeed
