Russ - We should have you update this video since we have new 300 yard rifle range and expanded pistol bays recently.

Nope, I use #10 Remington Caps. Got my Bobcat at Wal-mart 20 years ago. I have shot this rifle more than 5,000 times with #10 caps and had two miss fires. Both on rainy hunts. So yeah #11 caps suck.. with the Bobcat.. Oh my load is 75 grains of fffg Goex powder and a 360 gr LEE minie ball.

I bought mine New in the Box at Walmart. They had marked it down to $35. No paperwork, just out the door. Must have been around 2002. The hollow plastic stock is not user friendly. The plastic ramrod works but could break if man handled. Factory buttered mini balls have nice results at 50 yards. I thought seriously, several times, of sending it to the CVA HQ and have them convert it from caplock to flintlock. They were willing to do it some years back for about $65 and I pay all the shipping/handling. Still might...if the parts are still in stock.

This may sound stupid, but I need to change the cable grommets on the top. I have not taken my carb apart yet but I just want to make sure i do it correctly. Is there a nut holding the cable tube on the inside of the carb cap?
