Hey, I program the controller with the left and the top arrow but my motion glide just go left and not right
Make sure you have motion controls on and tilt the joystick up-left or up-right.

@@Gnawy I tried but its like im going forward because when Im want to motion glide to thé right I press the back buttons and then I put the joystick UP and right but its just going forward like the 2 actions are opposed

Technically the best controller would (now this is theoretical) would be one with gakecube notches aligned to the soft drifting angles, a large a button since its a lot more comfortable to press and a small b button, and 4 back buttons mapped to the d-pad inputs for the 4 directions, and no motion sensor. Now i know there is likely not a controller like this on the market but if you all are wondering this would in theory be the best mk8dx controller. Have an amazing day whoever reads this
That’s exactly the best controller. If only that existed. If you aren’t using a GameCube controller a more comfortable thing you can do is hold Y instead of A to accelerate.

Personally, soft drifting matters most to me, more than motion gliding. Combining soft drifts and delayed drifts together can get you very far in the game if you master the proper angles for specific turns in the game, it's why I see so many shroomless or NITA times that are even faster than my ghosts using shrooms lol. I'm not sure if soft drifting on the Power A Spectra is any different from soft drifting with the Pro Controller (unless I missed something in this video).
It’s the exact same on the Power A Spectra as the pro controller, so still it’s still fairly easily learnable. I also really need to start delayed drifting lol. I used to do it but I kinda unlearned it when I started playing a lot lol
@@Gnawy Alrighty then. You know I saw on one of the documents that there’s still pretty of turns in the game where hard right/left drifts are still better than soft drifts, while in most cases soft drifting is still better… but I’ve heard that on some turns combining both hard left/right drifts and soft drifts together might be better. Of course alignment hops, counter hops, delayed and neutral drifts will all be implemented in. It’s so much to take in. But I believe the majority of the soft drifting tutorials on TH-cam for English speaking players are very poor. I can tell the Japanese tutorials put a lot more effort and detail into explaining how soft drift angles work on specific turns. Anyways. That’s all I got today lol.
