Master of Orion 2 Canon win
Master of Orion 2 is very old 4X game... It actually kinda set the bar far that genre for a good while! Anyways I'm playing Version 1.31, but the modding community for this game has more newer version too. This version is just straight from a CD actually.
Anyways I'm just showing how easy it is to win against Antarans, which is the canon ending and how Master of Orion 3 (which was a flop) starts. I played vs 4 Hard difficulty AI players here, stole bunch of tech so eg. my ground combat bonus is bit unrealistic in a way (still legit thought, but mean how much tech you'd get "normally" with non-creative race) .
I'm not really good for maxing scores, but I like to play this game casually like this around Holidays. For high score runs you'd get more race penalties for multiplier and bunch of other weird stuff essentially, so I don't see score being a good metric in this game anyways.

T6 Quest in Wasteland at Minotaur Theater! I use some stealth here, but not using the Assasin Set, so it's still somewhat challenging. Little special map without many Trees and no Splits, so we need to play by ear a bit. Played Rogue Tower again a bit. Got Robots and Invaders, but still made a new record using the long run knowledge. I actually lost since once you kill tanks it spawns 2 Invaders, so if I had gotten Eldritch Set it would have gone SO MUCH better probably. Didn't upgrade Ballista at all.

    So I was feeling bit lazy here so it's just source material using DosBox built-in recording, so no very high Quality option for TH-cam sorry. Was lazy to edit the source file like I usually would do. It was just so small file size it would have meant it looking worse had I done that. And it's a bit hassle to record DosBox fullscreen with screen capture software to begin with. Anyways Antarans were really weird this game actually, super aggressive early on and then not doing anything for a long while so I couldn't get the best armor here actually. But I still had both Heavy armor (you steal this usually, as Automatic Factories is a must essentially) and Reinforced Hull and Damper Field from Orion. I had Repulsive race so not exciting leaders here at all, besides Loknar. The game got bit one-sided at one point and it wasn't terribly interesting to record unlike this 1 Combat Turn win against Antarans for a preview of this game.

    *WARNING PHOTOSENSITIVE* So you can easily get the Black Disk Relic once you unlock Richter! This opens up south part of this DLC Map. You can still unlock EVEN MORE stuff if you can reach top-left boss btw. Anyways you can return that room later for some more surprises too actually!

    *WARNING PHOTOSENSITIVE* This Ode to Castlevania is really good DLC! You can apparently initially access the parts of Map I managed to explore, you can unlock A LOT more stuff later as you progress. I tried my best to have as little screen clutter as possible, so I'm not using Curse or Charm Power-Ups here. I had little money glitch when Darkanas were added, never farmed cash actually. I I'm not really min-maxing weapons here either, tried to take something that keeps things *somewhat* reasonable for visibility here. I pretty much instabeat Bosses because I'm using really powerful char with some Eggs.

    Noita is 2D Sandbox game with Roguelike Elements. Main area is made of chunks, while there are certain static features too in the overworld, which we're not exploring. So not exactly Speedrun, but fairly fast run still, all things considered. I'm just showing "Main Path" + one early Side area. Sound Bugs a bit 25:50 - 26:42 , not quite sure why sorry! It did sound normal ingame, but not with recording. This recording was semi-improvised, so I set up recording things really fast, without too much thought so sound might have had some better setting than it was at. I get stuck about 27:00 btw, one of more annoying things that happen... 38:34 Physics can bug like that, very common in certain more hidden area. You'd normally scavenge more wands and try to use found spells better than I did here. From Jungle on and particularly at Temple of Art you can see my "main" Attack wand being a bit weak, just tried to make this Record fairly short and so I didn't really have whole lot to work with that I was confident to use. Longest runs can easily take 8+ hours, if you're doing side-quests. Anyways hopefully you enjoy this run, I cut it bit short at the end so I don't show Credits or my ingame stats (for some privacy) ;P .

    So I kinda forgot to check very exact zombie number here, but I'd say something like 300. Pretty easy and straightforward. I'm bit clumsy in the roof part cause was slightly distracted. Anyways enable Subtitles/closed captions (CC Button) for a few comments/notes during the video.

    So this is rather easy T6 mission, just has too much loot to carry usually ;P . I was bit unlucky with Sprained Leg and Arm so couldn't quite complete it within same day unfortunately. I didn't count the zombies here, as it's not particularly high count imo. Also the Loot Horde flanks you easily unless you do it the way I did or trigger them and jump down but then you need to hunt them down so... Anyways I tried my best to make easy to follow chapters here as I loot quite a lot so I regularly go to the car to stash stuff. Also I'm showing where those 4 Hidden Stash Boxes are. Anyway hope you enjoy this, I like this POI expect for Zombies making noise downstairs.

    So Pc version got new experimental version, which we're not playing here, as you can see from the Infested Chest at the end. This is probably last intended video of this stable release for time being. Anyways this is one of the easier T6 Quests like said in the description, tried to make it easy to follow. I know I kinda went to wrong way in the earlier Residential Rooms, but I just can't stand zombies bashing those doors or walls so that's why went like that. I have maxed Parkour so that's why I can stash loot to car and return back easily. I've done this POI a few times so I knew perfectly well how spawns work, particularly good for that spiral staircase where some spawn behind and for Loot Room obviously. I changed some recording settings btw. The weird crouching at the start was for Thumbnail actually, edited that in like 3 mins or so (made cursor disappear, not 100% clean edit but shouldn't look that bad either) . I'm not best at that editing actually. Anyways hope you guys enjoy this one :) .

    It really was my first time thru this POI! I edited out unintended noice (so 3 sec cut there) in All Cleared Chapter, but shouldn't be too confusing hopefully. Anyways it's around 350 zombie kills here, but as you they can't flank you it's not really any issue, even less so since you can use some jail doors to your advantage. Btw for thumbnail I used a bit image editing, to get rid of cursor and quick waypoint so that's why it might look bit off, I'm not *very* good with that kind of stuff.

    So we kill 226 Zombies during this quest. Again bit sorry for those unintended keyboard noises at times. It really was my first time ever doing this POI, so that's why I was bit uncertain where the zombie making noise was during upper classroom part. Anyways goes pretty easily since I try stealth approach (without assassin armor thought) till I have easy access to outside, so that I can actually deal with Screamers in reasonable manner. Lost a lot health due that sprained arm early on ;S .

    So I utilize some Stealth Play here, but I'm not using Assassin Set. The sound is bit off at the beginning and at the end cause I had updated audio drivers and it messed up stuff a bit, shouldn't be that bad for majority of time thought. I supposedly fixed that after this recording. I was bit distracted at the early so that's why that odd small pause. I didn't remember city layout correctly at the end, so that's why little detour to parking lot ;P . I would have approached things bit different if it hadn't rained near the loot room btw, haven't completed this POI that many times so I still needed to rely vision there to know stuff and the fog inside kinda counters that there ;S . Also some temps info for you but I have done some tinkering so it's lower than "normally" people have. This is from like around 2 hour playtime. CPU Max 71,5 , Average 62 GPU Max 64,5, Average 58 GPU Hotspot Max 75,5, Average 68

    I didn't quite get the cards I would have wanted, but it's really not that accurate. Once I saw I had Invaders I didn't really care too much and that's why one Invader got thru, as that was still too early Split without much hills so Invaders from Tanks (+UFO) would eventually be downfall, that was level 80. Also sorry for audio glitching a bit for Phase 3 (around 28 min to 44 min) . I'll see if I can help that if I make more Rogue Tower videos. I didn't use March Mode here cause you CAN actually get to lvl 100+ without that in One Lane Maps, if all things align perfectly, for other Lane Maps it's actually beneficial for you as long as you don't get to like level 90+ and play as intended.

    The reason Phase 1 wasn't that good was that I would have needed Heavy Shafts earlier, but Mana Bolts somewhat makes up for that to a degree too. Anyways this took 2 tries to record, but it's again mostly because it's AoE tower so other than Invaders Group would usually be fine, just lucked into Shapes which is pretty much guaranteed victory with Frost Keeps. Didn't bother going into Endless Mode since so many bad aspects on this map.

      If you mean at Navezgane I don't think it spawns there. It's known as house_modern_23 thought if you know POI teleporter thing. Technically speaking whatever videos I upload whenever, I do it's *mostly * something I genuinely enjoy showing. I'm not putting usually huge efforts to this, just mostly some footage with little to no edits (cut some boring stuff, maybe merge couple different videos I make together like I did for that Dead Cells Video etc) . I'm not monetizing anything but I don't necessarily upload anything regularly either. So you don't need subscribe if you don't want to.

But supposedly by end of year or something like that you should have access to RNG worlds where you'll definitely find this POI, if any of the Pregens don't have it.

      What's more fun is that aside from my No-Ballista videos, the Rogue Tower videos I've uploaded have been quite literally rather low effort to make actually - less than 10 tries for anything else I have shown. Anyways thanks for watching and congrats for that ballista only win! .

    Tbh I could maybe have used Shredders rather than Poison Sprayers here actually... But in any case the reason I lost was I just couldn't deal the basic Invaders from the Tanks at that point at all. Didn't have particularly good Uni luck either for the money spent. Just more fun Rogue Tower video to make than super long (100+ level Single Lane) runs :) . Since I didn't think would get to level 100 March Mode is much better just due increased cards. I'm pretty sure that with Eldritch Set you could get maybe like 70+ range even! Also showing my best levels at the end, if you find that interesting. All done without any Mods.

    Note that The Giant fight has some SPOILERS! So there was supposedly planned new content updates for like a year or so when things happened. Still doesn't make this game bad thought. Note that you need to beat all the bosses without getting hit for certain Outfits and Achievements. It really has been quite long since I played this properly, but could still at least beat 4BC run without limiting what items are in the pool, thought you could see I wasn't really the best at fighting bosses anymore ;P . So I'm just essentially tanking/brute-forcing them on this showcase video. For Crypt Boss I usually would prefer Exploding Crossbow or other ranged weapon, for Giant was bit careless and would have preferred Giant Killer, Hand of The King I don't really know if I could without getting do with any melee weapon though, as that Lance has quite deceiving hitbox imo. The first two bosses on this video are somewhat hard to do no-hit, but getting hit like 1 to 2 times with better weapon shouldn't be that hard, with some more "relearning" this game. I mainly prefer Green Scrolls cause at the time of recording it's best for Necromancy, making using the Flask not that necessary overall.

      In Navesgane, it's in Departure, which is in Desert. Around 1km South-East from Trader Bob. For RNG maps, it's known as "skyscraper_02" if you know how to use POI teleport thing.

    Worth it I guess... Lots of narrow doorways so you can pretty much melee anything but that Loot Room Horde safely. This time had that Repulsor Mod just to show how powerful it really is. Also I'm playing Default Difficulty level, 4 Points in Machine Gunner and 5 Points to Baton + maxed Physician too for even more Stun Baton buffs. This is from version B317.

    So the reason I got bit stuck on the roof was I forgot there's 2 Vultures on top of the stairway thing basically and got bit stuck. I'm bit careless with Melee too here, I'm not using the Repulsor Mod in my Baton (would make things easier I think as long as careful with it on the roof) . The Heat mechanic at the recording time (b317) is *very* sensitive compared to the earlier versions of that, so that's why we get some Screamer company too at the end.

    So for those who are interested, I also list couple Temperature related Stuff here, also GPU power usage as that does correlate with GPU temp too. I think ambient Temperature is around 25 Celsius Degrees right now, I don't know 100% accurately, but it should be close enough. This is from longer play session but I was only in Forest Biome so no big cities as I'm playing as expected for this Experimental Build. I don't get major frame drops often, sometimes dived like 20 FPS but was still high anyways and then climbed back pretty fast. I have just set my GPU to 144 HZ pretty much. Noteworthy that I have set Custom Fan Curve, so that affects Temps. CPU Max 77 Celsius Degrees, Average 69,5 Celsius Degrees GPU Max 74,5 Celsius Degrees, Average 67,9 Celsius Degrees GPU Hotspot Max 90,4 Celsius Degrees, Average 80,9 Celsius Degrees GPU Power Max 316,814 W, Average 262,121 W

I'm not Sealing them at all, although I probably should, as having everything unlocked does bloat this deck a lot. So today I finished last current Unlocks (and Achievements) for this game... Until next update/DLC at least, which this game gets a lot. Anyways a lot of weapons are really flashy so it often becomes quite hard to see for the last half of the runs... I've actually beaten at least one level with each char expect the one I unlocked today :) . I even managed to get a 4 eggs from the Atlanteans with the Ghost Char with negative Might! All that without even doing Limit Breaking, which would make weapons stronger actually or never having done high-scale Egg farming either, less than 1500 Eggs on most "Egged" char.

    Sorry for weird aspect ratio, I recorded this bit unexpectedly.. If I record something more I'll try to be more careful about that next time :) .Was also slightly distracted at the start of recording too so that's those weird pauses. Anyways I've played this game on/off for quite many years actually. I've always built really easy tower like this, it's always been at the very least good enough with this newer AI zombies have, to very easy with the dumber AI. With this new AI zombies seem to prefer attacking "outside" blocks, but you could easily make them do something else I believe. So each pillar room is 5 x 5 inside. Each floor height is 6 blocks and 7 block space between the pillars so really easy measurements. For farm I use multiples of 10 Farm Blocks. 20 if I need higher amount of those (with Living of Land level 3) , had 40 Super Corn for quite a long time actually, added 5th row of that rather recently. The Iron Mine had couple collapses cause was careless and it was also around the limit Blood Moon spawns so I had to fill it like that. They had made a long tunnel below the center area from that Iron Mine a few hordes ago, but things are still very much stable without really filling that tunnel so no worries. Those Ramps I use aren't mandatory at all btw, but they do add stability still. Having bars on 1st floor floor is somewhat risky with cops and radiated vultures, something to be aware. Also Spider zombies are able to jump this high, another thing to be aware of. I'm not quite sure if Vultures actually spawn from 3rd floor but I really only intended to protect those Solar Banks with those upper Turrets. Anyways they had minor Outbreak actually, but what I would need do for next Horde besides repairing would be replacing 2 Steel Blocks, 2 wooden ladders, 1 wooden hatch, 300 ammo for the SMG turrets that fired and then around 1k ammo for that M60 I think. I have very large amount of brass and quite moderate amount of lead but you can always mine it easily. The new 1.0 Version I believe should mean that from that point on there's no save issues between versions. Some infected tier 6 Missions end kinda require you to know the Loot Room thought, but besides that I had no major issues at all with this version. Early game had severe food issue thought till could do Bacon and Eggs ;P . Water was alright, I added those Dew Collectors very late actually! I didn't really invest a whole lot to weapon skills either, just 3 or 4 to Clubs, maxed Hip Fire thing (due reload running speed) and just very recently 4 ranks to shotgun.

    So I got 5 Trees only and had issues getting maxed Banditry + Gold Rush early, quite poor luck with Uni Health and Armor but that super good map more than made up for that! Level 100 Oogie was really close call, 105 didn't stand a chance. I just couldn't get that Ignite 2 Card or Crits for Radar Cards, either would have helped me to pass. There's really nothing else I can say that's not really obvious. Even thought I got Elementals, it wasn't too impossible, still was lucky for Eldritch Set as they don't spawn anything strong, that's why they still scale the best. I didn't really want Particle Cannons as I was essentially chasing missing Crits first so didn't want to bloat the Deck. I focused getting max Banditry and Uni essentially asap. You need early Lookout tower and Frost Keep to avoid taking Ballista Cards. Then just max Frost Keep / Vampire lairs / Shredders asap., ideally that order. After that I just chose anything to do with AoE / DoT basically, after choosing these towers I used. If that wasn't possible then Radar is good choice since it will focus on the Oogie if you tell it to target most shield - most armor - most health. I didn't take Particle Cannon since doesn't really do whole lot in the grand scheme of things expect a little damage to Oogie and I thought if I could get Crits for Radar it would be good, thought didn't have enough luck to actually get those cards. Still seems obvious that you can beat this level. I didn't upgrade Mortars as I felt it wasn't really necessary for this run, but they can have extra range and small AoE and decent damage increase too, but I had only 5 Trees so that was easiest compromise to make. Was lucky with Miniboss chests thought so that was enough to make a long run. I was ahead of "difficulty curve" for the normal mobs with this little manual upgrades for towers approach at that time btw, but that was mostly possible to this extent due that really good layout I got. I've never used any Mods for this game, so it's quite a lot restarting for layouts (due splitting, directions in general) and even then getting wrong phase 4 Mob (Shapes), Invaders to some extent) can still make it too hard for really long runs with their awful scaling. So unless there's something new, I don't really like these very long runs since the game slows down after certain point and it takes literally hours for successful run to finally end then, most likely from Oogie or you'll never get to really high level territory (90+) . How much it slows depends on your CPU. Luckily I have a good CPU so these late levels were taking "only" around 10 mins or so to complete. It was just a personal goal to make it further than level 100 in Normal Mode. And still I feel it was mostly just because I got so good map layout more than anything else.

    So here we got Witches, Demons, Eldritch Sets... You can get better maps than this for sure, particularly low amount of Trees - 3 - was main flaw, aside from that too soon split too. But a lot of good stuff too, so gave the run a proper try with a good result. I actually had huge trouble getting Mana Bank this run too ;S . So I'll breakdown why and what upgrades I use with these towers a bit too... Ballista - Just needed for few levels ideally speaking and it gets out-scaled so fast I find it hard to justify any cards for it. So it serves best to get House Protection. Frost Keep - Very strong, relative cheap. You'd want all cards for this actually. Mandatory for slowing down Oogie and mobs at higher levels. Vampire Lair - While it has some bugged cards atm, it's still best damage dealer... So 2nd Poison DoT doesn't seem to work and you never get 2nd Armor damage card so you'll miss some crit chance. it's your heavy hitter. I go for large quantity of them rather than few high level upgraded one, they'd be around level 20ish with natural leveling at that point if you play the same way I do. I don't really know/remember very exact numbers for when there's effectively diminishing returns for both quantity and quality at certain levels so that's why I mainly remember if they cost over 7500 probably would be more worth to level them manually thought, but it's not very optimal still. But on the other hand I want all those sweet Dot's to trigger so I want quantity, letting them to gain "free" level ups too so that's why I eventually end up most of them in low-mid 20ish this way. Shredder - Bad noise I know... But it's another good AoE essentially. Ideally you'd get cards for this after maxing both Frost Keep and Vampire Lair. Deals Phase 4 Spam very well! Mortar - Good range, decent damage for both armor and health. Minor AoE possibility too, but not super important with Eldritch Set. Mainly chose because you can spam them so much and it's easy to focus them on Oogie too... Radar - So this is really needed to deal with Oogie... This tower uses interesting Most Shield - Most Armor - Most Shield thing, so it'll keep on targeting Oogie or any "high-value" target basically. Encampment - needed to help deal with Oogie level 95+ on definitely. And also few mobs that slip thru main kill zone. Lookout - It augments other towers a lot and it's fairly effective what it does if you use more than a few different tower types. Helps early game so you don't need to take any Ballista cards. If I had more cards from Trees would have gotten Particle Cannon at some point too, to help deal with Oogie mostly. So that's why I see beating level 100 Oogie without any Mods being possible, thought runs like that are so long and so early RNG dependent... Just getting proper Layout takes so much time and I really don't want to touch mods for this game, as doesn't really reflect accurate results at all. Also Phase 4 if you get Shapes they really scale so bad for very long runs you'd need like best possible map to have good results regardless. That's why it was a blessing getting Eldritch Set as that's easiest by far for scaling.

    So I did have better map than this earlier but the result is still the same - Oogie is just is too fast at that point and he just zooms thru defenses. I know you can do better than this, but I really don't see playing this game as intended and getting past this level possible. I had really small amount of trees here 4 or 5 and let's say bit above average but certainly not the best uni bonuses I have had, thought thet really wouldn't have affected anything about Oogie making it to the tower. I used bit different towers than first time I reached this level, but the result is still the same basically, just bit easier with both Flamethrower and Obelisk. For Non-March Mode best I made is level 85 but it's kind of tedious to test as pretty much everything needs to work perfectly for some extra data about how possible it would be to reach very high levels basically for like 3 or so hours run. Failed to Oogie that run btw, but had ridiculous Uni Bonuses. That Oogie did have just Green Health left thought so... And "just" one Forest Tile too so like 13 or so extra chest with both Golden Forests.

    So as you can see it's around level 70 where what mobsets you got earlier affect how far you can get, realistically speaking. Elemental group is the worst since wind elemental, water elemental and boron elemental all start being quite nasty around this time. I used flamethrower for antiarmor rather than obelisk for improving that DoT but I'm not quite too sure if it's really the best still. Anyways I think this is about as long as you can get, so since this was good layout I'm showing this one too.

    Hey everyone! Had some IRL stuff going on for a bit... which explains me being silent for you. Long story short it appears that I can't attach picture of that super good 1 Lane map after all :/ . But I'm thinking of making that Steam Forum post shortly anyways, where I can detail some stuff from these longer runs for everyone to see and maybe someone can figure out how to improve something, thought I kind of doubt that due certain reason. I didn't have all upgrades unlocked for this recording map actually, I'm still using the March Mode for this 2 Lane run. I had to install Rogue Tower to new drive... This legit didn't take many attempts (1 or 2 once got card draw each round) at all and I can believe I could get somewhat further had I gotten different group than Elementals for 3rd Phase. Map is about as good as it gets thought for the towers I use so I'm showing this to you guys. I didn't choose any Ballista upgrade cards obviously since we're going for the distance. So enjoy!

    So I had a dream like map with Eldrich as last Group and actually made it to level 100, but at that point Grimm Oogie just zooms past everything... So that's far I think you can get with March Mode. I actually did end up having offensive Flamethrowers there - mainly cause was forced to pick those at one point. Sorry no video of that, but I might (eventually) make a post to Steam Rogue Tower forums about that, with ss of Layout. Anyways in the mean time I'm testing a bit what kind of results you can achieve without March Mode, cause I was forced to both Remove Max Slow and had to Give a ton of Speed so maybe with great Chest luck somewhow could make further... I mean like I think you can abuse system a bit but I always want to play as intended as long as game itself is reasonable enough (such as this if we're not talking about Ballista + Single Target Tower achievements, must get Shapes at last group there unfortunately and probably can't get robots either, for consistently passing them) .

    @simplegameslover2471 - What do you find is the most efficient tower targeting? I usually use, Most Shield/Fastest, Most Armor/Slowest and then Most Health/Near Death or just Near Death. Thoughts? Nice to see someone kicking 4-path's ass!

      I just use very easy way of Most (damage type), Fastest, Progress unless I need to think about specifict stuff such as rams (for which most armor, slowest, progress is ok) with Ballista and other tower. I try to always have just one damage type, to maximize damage output for that type regardless. You should ideally use the highest multiplier damage type for towers obviously, but for Frost Keeps and Vampire Lairs that's not exactly truth necessarily, particularly if you have added Lookout Towers in the mix. The way I do basically means I always react to the next mob from the set. So for Phase 2 first mob at level 15 put one tower for Most Shield - Fastest - Progress towers to cover each lane as far as you can (while ideally covering multiple lanes if possible) , then you should know what mob to react next etc. It does practically speaking reguire Mana Bolts 1 for last 2 mobs if doing Ballista + other tower, if you don't want any leaks and it's not particularly good map. For the Endless Mode that way works sort of ok too, but I'm not very expert on that Endless Mode. Least health and near death do have some use for Ballista + other tower thought, but if you are using multiple towers outside of Grimm Oogie there's nothing to worry about at all (unless you are particularly unlucky) as long as you always react to next (or last) mob this way.

    Enjoy (?) this Single Way my current record run last levels. It really was very laggy and the music stopped once started recording ;P . Game Sound is bit loud, sorry headphone users... I got Invaders and Demons and Shield group. So i didn't get any upgrade cards for Ballistas at all, just placed them next to Houses. Not that many trees either actually, bit late Uni since couldn't get that card but once got invested so that had 14% with first 2 scholarship cards majority of time for each category, got last scholarship very late actually. Since it's Single Lane it's very beneficial to take Banditry and Gold Rush if in good position to do so. So I just got Frost Keep as initial "other" tower and with it shouldn't be too hard to guess what I was doing really. Had little trouble getting Mana Banks card, even Siphon too actually. I didn't upgrade any towers individually actually, but there's a recent reddit thread at old.reddit.com/r/RogueTower/comments/18x9nd8/determine_how_many_upgrades_to_get_per_tower_with/ where someone has made graph how it should go if you try for min maxing. From my little testing Encampments seemed to outperform both Flamethrower and Obelisk for antiarmor thing. I had really bad lag from level 60 on actually, that's real time recording of the showed levels. Whole run took like 3+ hours ;S , so that's why this little part only. I know you could optimize things here and with better play (and probably other last enemy group and better map) I believe it's possible to achieve even higher levels. I eventually lost cause couldn't do enough health damage to that Oogie, so if I had some Shredders going or something like that maybe could have made a difference there.

    Just a quick tip from a mathematician, each upgrade on university is on avarage 0,01 damage per wave, so it doesnt matter if u upgrade 4 of each type, or 12 of the same, so u can make each university focus on one type of damage achieving similar results. On endless since u lose 1% per wave on everything, being focused meens that instead of 10 waves to get to 0, it would take 18 waves Sorry about my english, i like your videos from Brasil

      Makes sense I guess, thought I think you lose 2% per level. I've read other people say that same thing. One smaller content creater for this game actually recently got bit surpised how this splitting is quite good way too actually, but can understand what you're saying too.

    So I basically just use Ballistas as income here basically, which allows upgrading better towers more. Otherwise I play as I would no-ballista runs, expect we actually have some defense near tower and we also gain more house protection earlier. Fairly good good way roads split here, otherwise wasn't good run at all. Not really tied to achievement unlike my other Rogue Tower videos, but if you wanna go for high levels probably best playstyle I think.

    Just another video to show how to start no-Ballista runs. I get better roads on this video but play worse... And then due lack of armor damage I end up dying to Invaders essentially. Pretty bad Splits there too. Anyways technically speaking I had this video before the winning No-ballista run, but you can see how early game can vary quite a lot and find a common theme how I survive Phase 1. Should upgrade towers a bit more for corrensponding damage types and should have used more Frost Keeps etc, a lot of stuff I could have done better honestly. Invaders aren't impossible with Frost Keeps but they are still the hardest Phase 4 Set so I would really have needed all possible armor damage for their missiles basically.

    Several lucky happenings at Phase 1 actually ;S . I'm not quite sure if you can start early game in easier manner than this actually, I did some testing when I did this first time and this was first solution I came up with. I use Flamethrower and Poison Sprayers cause they are fairly cheap and can work good enough, then transition to Frost Keeps once I have good enough Mana for that. Early Lookout can be really useful too here. So I want the roads to have common places for these Frost Keeps essentially and roads shouldn't be too straight. I just then used common sense for roads for Phase 2, but Rams can still be bad (spawn like 3 or more in a row) until 2nd or 3rd Mob for Phase 2 I think. You need dedicated Oogie killer, Radar is best for that, but Particle Cannon is alright too if must. Anyhow should open the lanes iniatilly like I do, as that can yield the desired kind of roads. It still will most likely take A LOT of tries for things to align, but once they do it's really easy unless you get really bad splits at Phase 2.

      That was a clean run. Never tried acheivements that include no ballistas. I picked up this game again now during holiday. I wanted to see if I cloud beat lvl 90 in endless (1 path), but figured I needed too many variables so gave up (no early splits, good amount of haunted houses, 10+ universites and a good spot for my shreeder). I have beaten 4 lane (with and without splitsville), but never with no ballistas.. Impressive!

    So this shows how powerful both Sprayers really can be, with decent Uni luck. Making killzones to counter missiles works better overall than trying to kill them like this I think., providing if those killzones can reach 2 different lanes at time. In those killzones I have a few different priorites for targetting so it works really effectively denying the spam. In the end we do survive the wave but die to the Invader Oogie... I mean like I could have done it better but it's not that far from winning either.

    Flamethrowers can be super strong under right circumstances. If you get Zombie Group very easy to add those earlier, for extra cash and they also do good vs most mobs there. Flamethrowers are technically speaking AoE, they can beat Robots, Eldritch, even Invaders - thought Invaders do require good Uni Luck to make it work. It's somewhat safe only vs. one of these spawner groups at time, so Robot + Eldritch can be *very* scetchy without good Uni Bonuses. I get again Shapes as last mobs so not very interesting. One split made one of the shorter lanes bit harder than it had to be, aside from that it's really good map. Depending on map Layouts I often find it best to have just "Deathzones" that can cover 2 Lanes rather than kill them as spawn actually, but each to their own. Also try to be more careful than I am for Mana managing ;P .

      Ideally the first 2 health and armor upgrades asap, with their respective DOT. For Splitsville you really want both Frost Bolts asap, for normal maps you need Frost Bolts 1 just for Oogie usually. Also obvously take 3rd level for those, with armor being more important if given choice. Also should have at least lvl 2 Enhanced Bolts for the start of Phase 2, ideally with that DOT. Or just plain lvl 3 Enhanced bolts is ok too. Mana Bolts (all levels tbh) as soon as can have enough Mana for them, but you really must have that Mana" income" source first, as can survive maybe 1 to 2 level without any. Usually you'd do pretty well with just Mana Bolts 1 for Phase 2. Creeping Cough helps a bit too. Reason for those DOTs is that you not only prevent regen ability of some mobs, but also increase damage to that respective health type. Also Ballista has better health damage than armor damage, so that's why early armor is slightly better thing to take. Shield health doesn't exists until Phase 2, but for Witch group they're really harsh if you don't have at least Enhanced Bolts 2, kinda same for Zombies too. Let alone "Shield" group mobs, which are major headache at best for even normal 4 Way Maps. On 3 Way normal maps doesn't matter at all which group you get for Phase 2...

    Last normal wave at around 1 Hour 12 min. Main issue is that definitely need to get good Ballista cards early on and not have bad luck with rams. Can't really have Shield group for Phase 2 if you build lanes this way. Also lanes can't split if there's no space for them to do so, so that's why I opened the path that way. Lucky forest tile, usually there's much less trees actually. Could do better version how to build lanes than this too I think but this works fine and requires just 2 splits to go the way it does here so it's rather consistant. I would have made better record with Eldritch Group I believe, since White Shapes are really tanky at that stage, which was major issue really. Didn't matter at all which group I got for Phase 3 and 4 for just passing since I used multiple good towers. Could have taken other good towers too tbh for Endless Mode.

    Great secondary tower, easy clear win. Bad Uni Luck, pretty much worst 3rd Phase Mob for this tower, also splits sort of forced to make weird layout. Sound glitches a bit too during transition here too ;S . Took like 5 tries to record this and the other Rogue Tower video btw - lost 2 of those games due poor Mana managment ;P .

    I never quite managed to beat 4 Lanes with Encampments on March Mode actually - did it at Normal Mode.Just a ton more easier to play March Mode for much easier starts... Anyways there's good Uni Luck and quite a lot Mines and it's very close that I would have beaten that level 45, so this should be still good enough example how I play with Weaker secondary tower. Also no idea why sound glitches a bit during Phase Transitions - sorry about that.

    Your base is not so different from mine - except that you seem to have got some solar arrays going already. GG! Plus, I usually only have 1 support as an access - though zeds always seem to know it is the entrance and swarm to it. Spiders all over it every horde - so I may start designing bases with access to all tower legs, as you do!

      2 of those arrays have max number (6) of purple cells and 1 has 5 cells. The last one is just for symmetry ;P . As those cells cost arm and leg (around 23k Coins each), I resorted making glue, machete blades and (shamefully, but only like 600 units) some wet concrete blocks to fund those cells in timely manner - not much luck getting many treasure maps and I'm (again shamefully ;P) hoarding pretty much everything but Coins and Glue.
