If you are new to gacha games, I highly suggest you start out with Honkai Star Rail. It gets much more love and cool free stuff than Genshin does, and the characters are way cooler IMO, and the gameplay much better. HSR has pretty standard and fair 5 star character pull rates and pity system compared to other games, and is decently generous with rewards and currencies. The other gacha that always keeps me coming back to open my wallet is Fate Grand/Order. I quit a few months back and got pulled in again recently with Morgan's banner coming up again. FGO has one of the worst pull rates and pity systems in any gacha game unfortunately, and can be very unforgiving. If you have some luck on your side though, pulling 5 stars is definitely a nice dopamine hit. Recently I snagged a Tesla off of the story banner, then Altria Caster (Castoria), and last night Jeanne Alter. All of these incredible pulls were achieved with about 10 single pulls, which is insane. I never get that lucky ever, so I'll take it! Can't wait for the summer banners boyos! If you love the old Fire Emblem GBA or DS games, definitely check out FE Heroes. It has some of the BEST pull rates for 5 star characters in any gacha I have ever played, and is pretty fun, for a simplified version of a FE game. One of the most free to play friendly gacha game out there IMO. One other game I will mention, that isn't really a gacha, but it functions like one basically. That game is Marvel Snap. If you like online card games, and super heroes, this one will keep you coming back. The card acquisition system is a bit strange, but it functions like a gacha essentially. Once you collect all of the base Series 1 and 2 cards after playing for a few days, the very important Series 3 cards are all randomly acquired through leveling up your account. Super fun game, but it has the same issue as Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, which is the devs tinker and buff/nerf cards WAY too often, and that can be super annoying. Though luckily, unlike Master Duel, Snap doesn't release cards and then ban them in a month or two, like what happened to many of my MD decks. Made me quit the game. So that's a positive for Snap.

How tf does FGO have "the best gameplay" of any gacha game you've ever played? It's literally a turn based card clicker with glorified 2 FPS sfx and a sickness-inducing camera. Not to mention the worst gacha system ever made. Moreover, FEH is the worst example of power creep I have ever seen in any gacha game, that alone warrants a bottom tier grading. The game spits out lifeless fanservice characters at an alarming rate, so much so that the tier lists are unreadable. The worst point of all is that the game has skill descriptions so long they trump even modern Yu-Gi-Oh cards. The lack of care of their game is very evident.

Kancolle on SSR?... yeah its fun until RNGesus says "no honey" then you get your fully sparkled and ringed waifu taiha'ed in preboss by a freaking imp EVERY FUCKING RUN. The gameplay is just pray to RNGesus and hope to pass the RNG, cause even with full equipments and a max level ship you get taiha'ed by the weakest of the enemies and its not your fault for a bad fleet composition, is because RNG said "no, i want you to sacrifice more buckets in my name". That, and the "pls don't play just expedition spam" game loop is a big no in my book. I respect kancolle as a franchise and the grandfather of gatcha games (the same as GBF and Flower Knight GIrl) but hell no, the gameplay is anything but good.

i'm quite upset with how arknights is only SSR since its a really good game. good gameplay, deep lore, good rate(thought it can mess some people up since as far as i know there is still no guarantee pity system), many good game mode, though it might be quite hard for early game player to enjoy it as at first it can be quite boring because having less build character it can usually limit their option when it comes to hard contents but later on when you can manage to build a alot of good characters. event can be extremely fun and challenging. there are a lot to do for you while at the same time you can also afk on it. do please play the game more and rate it again because i do not think arknights deserve only SSR also check arknights ost, theme and musics to im sure i will find a lot of songs that suite your taste

FGO above genshin is crazy what are you smoking? I've played fgo for 3 years now and finished everything, sure the story and lore is abolute peak, the music is goated and the art is really good, but everything other than that is absolute shit. - reuse animations for enemies and servants - the gameplay is basically nonexistent (yknow something a game is supposed to be good at) - combat boring asf (except some cool boss fights like the machine gods and the calamities) - pity is so high it basically doesnt exists - no voice acting in the story - shit art and graphics (when in combat) Genshin has amazing art and graphics, good and interesthing characters, amazing world and exploration, actual gameplay unlike 90% of other gacha games here, goated music on par with fgo and arknights, good story (earlier stories are meh but sumeru and fontaine are on part with lb5), wlemental combat is amazing, sure it has some drawbacks but its better than 99% of other gacha games

Really liked Nikke. Started playing it day 1, spent a bit of money on it, got all the girls, but BOOM, account ban. 30 tickets later, I didn't even find out for what exactly I was banned for. The official message I got after trying to log into the account was "use of prohibited programs" or some other nonsense like that. They didn't confirm a single time that this was the actual reason, neither did they explain what they even detected. Actually, I am kind of doubtful I was even communicating with a real person through the whole thing. Anyways, if you are looking for a game, in which you will dedicate a lot of time and money, but get banned for no reason, Nikke Goddess of Victory is for you.

Very few points that I would like to disagree with but in terms of your tierlist I respect it. First(been playing since day 1) fgo is good in everything besides the actual gameplay which honestly in my opinion so outdated very repetitive and the qol in terms of grinding events/dailies(which is 90% of the time what you are gonna do in the game) is basically non existent unless you download a third party app which allegedly makes people accounts banned(not confirmed because I've been using it myself till this day and I'm still fine). Honestly this is the main reason why almost everyone on my discord and friends I invite quit playing after 1 or 2 days of trying fgo, unless they like reading lore which is the imo the main selling point and content of the game besides the servants. Even on the cq quest which is supposed to be the hardest content in the game is quite lacking to me and I still breeze through on everything on mostly 1 or 2 tries by basically just brute forcing my way and I didn't spend shit on the game. Very few stages offered me a challenge which was fun ngl. But very rare this days. Arknights(also been playing since day 1) difficulty is a number bloat is just false. This is one of the very few games now that even if how many $ you sink in and max every single 'OP or Meta' characters if you don't know how the stage mechanics/type of enemies and what type of operators to bring you just ain't just gonna win even if you bring all the maxed "meta" operator on a stage.

Two games I would like to mention: Dragalia Lost and Cookie Run Kingdom. Dragalia Lost ended service more than a year ago, but I still remember it as one of, if not the best gacha game I've ever played. Great gameplay, variety, events, many characters and dragons each with an small story that contextualizes their presence and/or gives them character development and lots of quick and easy daily quest that could help you upgrade almost any character to make them viable. Not to mention it was super generous and had a bunch of collabs (I think the last one was Persona 5), I never needed to pull out my wallet to get many cool adventures and dragons I wanted. It had so many things that I can't actually say it all here. There are videos that explain it better. Meanwhile, Cookie Run Kingdom is still going to this day. Despite becoming more pushy towards paying, the game is still really F2P friendly, giving you more gems the better you get in modes like arena or guild battles. You also get gems at a steady pace by playing story mode and events. The characters, despite not sounding interesting because they're gingerbread cookies, are actually pretty cool (in most cases). If I had to point out some issues, it would be that grinding gets pretty slow on higher level characters, the gameplay being pretty generic and powercreep being a real problem, to the point of some bosses being basically unbeatable without the proper line up (it's not actually hard to unlock characters, but leveling them up can be quite tedious).

not a bad video, but damn Arknights being reproached for stat check is kinda insane ngl The game is very very hard but it has nothing to do with stats, in fact most guides use very weak units not even E2. this is very common in the community for players to think a stage is impossible with all the most meta units in the game and then act surprised when a very good niche player clear it with units that aren't even promoted or leveled up. It's more about understanding the enemies and reacting with the right characters for any given sitation than any kind of stat check. Tbh lvl aren't even that important, usually it's almost considered a waste of ressources to bring your units to lvl max
