      Yes, you can perform a throttle body relearn procedure on your Nissan Murano SL. This process is essential after cleaning or replacing the throttle body, disconnecting the battery, or if you're experiencing irregular idle speeds. The relearn procedure allows the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to recalibrate and recognize the fully closed position of the throttle valve, ensuring optimal engine performance.

    • @exoniviews
      @exoniviews 5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      A rough start after sitting for a long time could be due to several issues. Common causes include faulty spark plugs, dirty fuel injectors, a weak battery, or a failing coolant temperature sensor. It could also be related to moisture in the ignition system or a problem with the idle air control valve. Try checking for any stored trouble codes and consider a tune-up if it hasn’t been done recently.

    Can a electronic throttle body be calibrated? I have a 2003 Toyota Camry XLE 3.0 V6. I did alittle preventative maintenance and decided to clean my TB and now i have a high RPM at a cold start. Before cleaning the throttle body the rpm read around 1450 and dropped as it warmed up. After cleaning the RPM reads 2000 and drops as it warms up. It only does this when i start the car first thing in the morning or if the car hasn't been started for 6 hours or more. 2000 rpm is to high. When i cleaned the TB i didn't unplug the battery cables and i didn't remove it from the car and i also opened the butterfly by hand easily. Did i screw up my throttle body by doing it the way i explained? Once the car has warmed i can shut it off and restart it and its normal it only does it at a cold start. Maybe i didn't clean it well enough and the butterfly sticks because of the engine being cold idk. This has been going on for about 5 to 6 months. No vacuum leak and no check engine light

    • @exoniviews
      @exoniviews 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, the electronic throttle body can be calibrated, and your issue seems related to that. Cleaning the throttle body without disconnecting the battery or performing a throttle calibration might have caused the ECM to retain old settings, leading to the high idle. You can fix this by performing a throttle calibration: Disconnect the battery for 15-30 minutes, reconnect it, and then turn the ignition to the "ON" position (engine off) for a few seconds to let the throttle body relearn. Also, ensure proper cleaning: Confirm that the butterfly valve is not sticky due to residue or improper cleaning. Your method likely didn't damage the throttle body, but recalibrating should address the high RPM.

      The rapid shooting sound when you turn the key usually points to an issue with the battery or starter. Try jump-starting the car; if it starts, the battery likely needs charging or replacement. Make sure battery connections are tight and clean, as loose connections can also cause issues. If the battery seems fine, the starter motor might need repair. Also, check the fuse box for any blown fuses related to the starter or ignition and replace them if necessary. If it still won’t start, a mechanic may need to inspect it further.

    Hello, I know I’m abit late hahah but my VW GOLF MK7 sometime when I drive off after 30s when I stop at a junction, my RPM sits below 1k just on the line. And the fan kicks in. Also I’ve notice I have a leak around the engine and ‘MAF’ side. Also since I changed my timing belt and water pump my car started making a rattling sound. Do you know what could it be. I know it’s hard to understand what I said but if u know something help pls haha

    • @exoniviews
      @exoniviews 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      1. RPM sitting below 1k and fan kicking in; If your RPM is low when stopping at a junction, it could be related to the idle control system. VW models sometimes experience issues with the throttle body or the idle air control valve. A dirty or faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor can also cause rough idle or fluctuating RPM, especially if you're seeing a leak near the MAF sensor. Address that leak, as it might be causing unmetered air to enter the system, affecting idle. 2. Leak around the engine/MAF side: If you’re noticing a leak, it could be vacuum-related, which might be causing the irregular RPM and idle issues. You should inspect the vacuum hoses, intake manifold, and the MAF sensor seal for any leaks. Also, a coolant or oil leak could cause engine performance problems if it's affecting critical engine components or sensors. 3. Rattling sound after timing belt and water pump change: A rattling noise after changing the timing belt and water pump could indicate that something wasn't torqued or aligned properly. Double-check that the timing belt tensioner, pulleys, and water pump were installed correctly. The noise could also be due to a loose belt or a misaligned tensioner, so it's best to have the belt assembly inspected again to rule out any potential damage

      The P0131 code (O2 sensor low voltage) can be caused by several issues beyond the sensor and wiring, including: Exhaust leaks before the sensor, A vacuum leak causing lean conditions, A faulty fuel injector or fuel pressure issue, A bad ground or connector issue elsewhere in the circuit., The sensor itself may still be faulty despite appearing fine. @@hayabusagsxrlovers1374 If the ground for the O2 sensor heater circuit isn't activating immediately you start the engine, but rather delays, That means there may issue with the pcm or wiring. Try checking the following areas; Check PCM function and ensure its functioning correctly, as it controls the ground. 2. Inspect Wiring to Verify there are no breaks, corrosion, or damage in the ground wire from the O2 sensor to the PCM. 3. Check for Fault Codes, Scan for any error codes related to the O2 sensor or PCM that could indicate the issue. 4. Test the Relay or Fuse and ensure the fuse and relay controlling the O2 sensor circuit are not faulty and 5. PCM Reset or Reprogram: In rare cases, resetting or reprogramming the PCM may help if it’s a software issue. If none of these resolve the issue, replacing the PCM might be necessary.

    You explained everything very well, except what I was looking for, where to connect the smoking machine to the engine. LL : )

      Thanks for your comment, I appreciate. Where to connect smoking machine is through the Vacuum line or intake manifold, then run it to detect leaks as described in the video.

    After watching your video I do realise that my car intermittently lacks acceleration. I tried cleaning the map sensor to see if maybe that will improve it, but it still did the same thing. I’ve never had any codes pop up but I figure since the car has over 100,000 miles. I’m gonna go ahead and replace the sensor anyway. The problem with my acceleration actually resolved. Some things are a mystery.

      I'm happy to hear that replacing the sensor resolved the issue! It's fascinating how some problems don't trigger any error codes, but it sounds like you made the right call, especially with the car's mileage. Sometimes, a bit of preventative maintenance can make all the difference. Thanks for sharing your experience!"

    How to replace knock sensors on 2016 Toyota Avalon V6

    • @exoniviews
      @exoniviews 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To replace the knock sensors on a 2016 Toyota Avalon V6, follow these steps: Take off the engine cover and disconnect the negative battery connection. Take off the intake manifold, and find and disconnect the wire harnesses for the knock sensors. Unscrew the knock sensors to remove them. Install the new knock sensors and reconnect the wires. Put the engine cover and intake manifold back together. Re-connect the battery connection. To meet the manufacturer's recommendations, make sure to torque all of the nuts.

      If you're having such experience, that means Your car may have an issue with the fuel system (fuel filter, fuel pump), spark plugs, or transmission. Have these checked by a mechanic.

    Gas Vehicles may be obsolete too much money to keep them running even after your done with car payments you still have to shell out money for all kinds of repairs and your car devalues as soon as you take it out of the Dealership. Meaning you just burdened yourself with a huge debt in a Debt driven society.

    CV joints can last 100,000 miles or more - if the boot isn't cracked letting the grease out - the costs are about $200 labor & $150 to $900 for the CV - during inspections , tire purchases & front end aliment ask the mechanic to see if the boots are torn -

    Who can help me with p2196 code, replaced oxygen sensor, injectors good, cleaned intake manifold, egr. Still doesn’t go away. Stuck rich

    • @exoniviews
      @exoniviews 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Having done all and the code is still there, try this Additional steps to fix code P2196 (O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Rich). 1. Look for vacuum leaks in the intake manifold and vacuum lines. Even minor leaks alter air-fuel mixtures. 2. Check the MAF sensor. A dirty or defective MAF sensor can cause a rich engine to run. If needed, clean or replace the MAF sensor. 3. Check the fuel pressure regulator. High fuel pressure can lead to richness. Ensure the fuel pressure meets manufacturer standards. 4. Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor Review: A defective ECT sensor might transmit inaccurate temperature measurements to the ECU, generating a rich mixture. 5. Check for obstructions in the exhaust system, including the catalytic converter. 6. Occasionally, a faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM) might cause improper fuel mixture adjustments. After fixing these issues, clear the code and look for returns. The problem may require a deeper diagnosis if it persists.
