hmm the honda s2000 was in the ps2 game, i have driven that car ingame. maybee some cars are cut or not cut because of the region the game was released in it seems. in the eu version of underground 2 the honda s2000 is available as an starter car.

Fun fact: The version of where the m3 gtr had a colorable wing exists in PS2 Version NFS Carbon. NFSC used the same m3 gtr sound as in nfsmw in ps2.

I don't wanna sound stupid, but I wonder how I Can't, Body Rock & The Manifesto got found... from the Speedyheart vid, I remember it was located in the Hex code of the EA Trax menu alongside the first 6 songs (with Step into a World & Feels So Good being mentioned on the unused EA Trax menu when edited back into the game) are the 3 other songs in the final game's Hex code for the EA Trax Menu like the other 6 songs? or in the earlier betas for the game?

6:26 I see it, too. The Mexican border was more realistically shaped, the south border of the Midwest and west Texas border were also different, with the former not following the river. The border around Niagara Falls was also extended into Grand Island and Canada. The AZ-CA border is also more real and less squiggly. In fact, I see more realism in the CA-NV border. Washington State was also extended north of Seattle. The west Midwest border is also missing the south side of the Colorado border. The southwest side of the San Francisco peninsula is not within the borders. Most of Padre Island has the same problem. Aside from borders, nothing seems changed.

Regarding cut cars Those were from Most Wanted 2005 left over I think they were suppost to be in the final game but got cut due to technical stuff

Mercedes Benz SLR was supposed to sound the same as the BMW M3 GTR beta version but was changed. Bull's SLR i still wonder what the reason was they removed the vinyl what cause it was a gang sign? And the BMW i knew i wasnt crazy when i noticed the yellow tinted headlamps were missing. Makes me wonder why they changed that as well... i dont understand why these game developers go in and alter things before release

I love it how much bullshit there is at 4:16. :D Some of the cars are just slightly enhanced UG2 models, including many of the bodykits. Talking about laser-scanning, most proportions were still far from the real cars. I dunno what did they actually scan, tbh. As far as reflections in the X360 version were a step up, the models themselves had sooo many borked normals. The engine sounds might've been recorded using real cars, but majority of the samples are put on the wrong cars. Not to mention that again - most of these samples are reused from UG2, like V8's, V6's or Inline 4's. Typical false advertising during a game event.

Hyundai, Acura, Peugeot, Infiniti, Honda and the Toyota Corolla were supposed to be in the game besides Nissan? I didn't even know that

that doesnt make sense, unlike that means they tried to merge criterion into ghost. but as far as i remember, criterion was the one who started development, because, its obvious that most of the cars are reused from mw12, including the physics, nearly the core engine/ mw12 was ported to frostbite
