It was one of the nicest gigs I've ever done, and the people who were there were all honest and positively optimistic about how they felt, just like you and I. For me, performing is a process of practice and musical experimentation, no matter how big or small, and it gives me hope that I always improve. When I was preparing for those shows, it was really inspiring to see the people around me step up and take on their roles voluntarily. Thanks for your comment. The chord progression you mention about this song has actually been reproduced by countless musicians, for example, "If you want me to stay" by Family Sly Stone, and the beginning of "Black Nile" by Wayne Shorter, which I recently uploaded, has a similar chord progression. Please check that out. This kind of concept is also known in jazz jargon as a “contrafact”.
