Regarding the part where the Glooms type letters: it's not really a secret message, apparently it's just the initials of some of the devs. And it does boost magic find by a TON, but it doesn't show in the stats. I think it was something ridiculous like 300% or 600%. And yea, it persists until you leave the game, from act to act. So you can go get the buff and then clear every act.

Your videos are very fun. Your laid back approach and commentary are a great juxtaposition to the seeming pain of some of these runs. I appreciate your pace and the format & length of your videos. Even with being in NZ I didn’t know Path of Exile 2 was out (live under a few rocks), so I’d be interested in seeing something on it -knowing extremely little of the game as I do.

Random Iron Golem facts: For the Necro the golem will persist through logouts (other classes getting Iron Golem through other means will be reimbursed with gold). As long as you don't die and the golem doesn't die he's a permanent friend. The golem takes on the base and magic properties of the item he was created from. The only exceptions are effects that are irrelevant for the golem itself, like mana on hit, or magic find (as the golem can never find items and doesn't transfer the stat to you)f.e. This means you can make some quite insane golems if you have valuables to spare. One such use would be to transform a "Beast" axe or hammer to have a permanent +8 Fanaticism (as well as the crushing blow and open wounds chances) on the golem. *Very* expensive tho so one should be quite sure that the golem will exists for a long while.

I think if you get a ton of mana & some regen/max out energy shield you might have a shot going quite far

you should have farmed chests on p8 for a few skulls to put in a 2os shield. that gives you attaker takes damage from lvl1

Had a sand raider style enemy standing in place. It was revived and just hanging out peacefully on some stairs. Pissed me off. Completely blocked my skeleton army from attacking stuff. Had to execute him.

Hi, I recently discovered your channel and I really like it! Your sense of humor is exactly my cup of tea. As for the challenge idea, how about this: Let's fix the stupid game logic and be real for once. Monsters don't carry any loot. Isn't it absurd when a swarm of wasps drops heavy armor or a badass two-handed sword? Kinda silly right? So the only way to get ANY items has to be realistic and by that I mean chests, rocks, dead bodies (they don't need it anymore, so morale...whatever), armor and weapon stands, barrels and so on, you see my point. A gift from NPCs is also fine. However no buying any items anywhere. You're a poor hero with five kids to feed, so all the gold you find goes to your wife's account. Sorry. No buying also applies to all potions, you use what you find. Barb´s "find item/potion" skills also out of the question. Yeah and I nearly forget, no endless farming of superchests. Open it once and move on. No class or build restrictions. Whatever works best for this stupid challenge. (Assassin's ability to unlock chests might actually come in handy. Keys can't be bought either, sorry :D) That could be fun ;-)

Just a thought, but don't think defense helps with how much damage you take, only whether an enemy will hit or miss. So ideally you want a low defense, high block, and some sort of reduced damage taken like on String of ears. I'd recommend as much life regen to go with the procs.

Really like the fact that you look at all those tiny details most of us just rush by when playing. Keep 'em coming!

I usually sell those chance to cast spell gears thinking they are useless but now that i know they get stronger from synergies might be a fun meme playthrough. Play as nova sorc with chance tobcast nova gear for free novas.
