I played the last mission so that I could play the endgame and have fun with it, but with how bad and abruptly it ended, I deleted the game and barely touched it ever since. What a letdown of a game it ended up being for me

Should I play this game? I’ve been sinking all of my energy into Gran Tourismo 7, I even got a whole racing wheel since, I miss need for speed tho

I loved nfs mw 2005 & carbon and rivals. Nothing feels as good as those 3. Heat is also good but complete BS without UNITE mod. Reasons for loving those games - I did not have thousand options to choose or for "digital" entertainment - Games ran on everyone's system, IRL fraction of people own a "game-abled" PC - Bad trend of graphics. Nobody wants real time shadow, 4k texture, Realistic grass. - Overcomplicated games, I can pick up MW 2005 and figure out what's what in 10 mins, Can't do this in modern games

Heat is the best NFS i think. Most wanted was fun but it was more about the M3 GTR for me Payback is fun but the system for upgrading your cars was fked Unbound is a disgrace, Dont like the game in all ways. Maybe underground 2 could even it because of the nostalgia, but this game was broken with no good storyline Heat is just the best ALLROUND NFS.

Motorfest is just a combination of NFS Heat and Forza Horizon 5

I'm currently thinking of getting back into racing games. I used to play Underground series, Most Wanted and like Dirt. Nothing really got me the feeling from Underground 2 (I was like 16 so my nostalgia might hit here) Which one is now better to get in. Heat or Unbound. Unbound seems to get updates still and looks pretty nice but Heat might be better street racing feeling?

i couldn't get over the cringe/bad writing this game offered.. and even though you are able to turn it down, what the hell is the weird cartoonish trail supposed to be.. it doesn't go well with 'photo realistic' which this game outright is NOT. im waiting for NFS 2015 v2.

Stop with cap and gaslighting. So you mean to tell me that you want the cops to be more challenging in the game, like they arent already annoying? Level 5 heat is annoying after each race escaping them or driving to another race you gotta worry about being spotted like im playing hitman or splinter cell lol.This is a racing game not GTA, if i want 5 stars ill gladly play gta which makes sense. A racing should just be a racing game. Theres a reason why Forza holds the throne and huger a reason why this game is free on gamepass lol

1:05 its impressive how NFS 2015 has a isnane realistic world cenario graphics 5:15 raining half the time? In fact it rains 70 - 80% of the time on night runs

Heat was a step forward to getting NFS back on track and then they released Unbound and took 100 steps backwards 🤦

This game is and always be wayy better than shitty Unbound, you dont need money to pay to get in a race, which Unbound does and its dumb. I hope they make another one next year!

Great review. My issue with the game was more so (although somewhat mentioned) that after finishing the game, it doesn't feel worth playing anymore. Both the singleplayer and multiplayer modes feel very limited in terms of content variety. After finishing the game I ideally just want a selection of like 80 races, and being able to play any of them in the classes I desire. It's just not possible to enjoy it that much after the story's done and with how limited online events are in the game. It was an okay 10-15 hours worth of racing, with decent visuals, good racing and art though.

This will be classic just like Underground 2 and MW,one of the better NFS games :D

This is an NFS that is often underestimated simply because of its art style and soundtrack that not many people like, such a shame! IMO the gameplay of NFS Unbound is very solid, some things are even better than NFS Heat, like the handling and the nitrous system for example. And let's not forget how beautiful NFS Unbound looks on current generation consoles, the game runs natively at 4K resolution with 60 FPS on PS5 and XBOX Series, and that's awesome for an NFS with the Frostbite engine!

I played this game SO MUCH during the pandemic, for me it was the best NFS in recent years.

NFS HEAT still way better than 2015, Payback, Unbound and MW 2012.

NFS Heat was my favorite racing game since Midnight Club LA. And I thought it was majorly successful, so imagine my surprise when the next NFS game is Unbound which is…not a sequel??? I mean maybe they play and defer similar but the whole animated thing they did felt like they were trying to capitalize off of Spider-Verse or something instead of making a sequel to the best racing game of the entire 2010’s. I never gave Unbound a try but maybe I will in the future. But Heat? The customization, the car selection, the cops, the night/day dynamic, hell even the story was actually good-this game did just about everything right. The soundtrack wasn’t the greatest but what game these days has one on the level of those old 2000’s games? NFS Heat was the game that I’d been waiting on for years as a PlayStation guy.

Agree with most the video but the soundtrack is complete trash featuring everyone’s favourite artist such as niki manaj and MGK

I wish they had more selection for JDM cars, seems like it was mainly just basic ferrari cars and bmws

This was the best game for a week… then it got "boring". Still my favorit nfs game so far that i have played. I have nfs rivals, nfs payback and heat.

One of the biggest tragedies of the rather short story is the fact that they had a whole cover car with that yellow Polestar only to chuck it off of a bridge in the prologue and then they just bring back the damn M3 back by the end of the game.

The only daytime sprint races are ones from the race and off-road campaign

Second comment. I would love to be so good at the game to think the cops were not a challenge. I was terrified of the night time and got through it as soon as possible Again this ties to the gameplay loop where I needed to pay to get into races. Money was so tight that I felt stressed and didn't want to collect cars and was just on a mission to beat the game which is never a good sign. Sure maybe skill issue ot whatever. I also beat Elden Ring and grew up on the nes. UNBOUND is just not fun or rewarding to me. So disappointing because I love the driving and other aspects of the game.

Love the driving. The city is fine. Cel shaded was fine. Story was below average. Gameplay loop sucked in my opinion!!!. I hate paying to get into races and I know it's my fault but I didn't know I needed 4 cars for the Grand. I beat the game but have such distain for the gameplay loop that I will never play this game again. Again I liked the driving and some other elements. Heat was better. Honestly almost every need for speed I have played was more fun. Maybe not better mechanically or graphically but more fun to play.

Heat is by far THE BEST modern NFS. NFS 2015 is a close second and it only loses because of the stupid always online requirement. Payback has a terrible tuning system full of RNG and gambling mechanics And I haven't tried Unbound yet.

I just wish the story would’ve focused on the league after Mercer. Definitely could’ve made it more enjoyable. Story was a little dumb but just making it longer would’ve gone a long way.
