Project MFG executes tournament-style skills competitions designed to attract new talent to skilled trade fields: the next generation of machinists, welders, programmers, mechanics and fabricators.
• College isn't the only option. More than 2 million U.S. manufacturing careers will remain unfilled in the next decade if something doesn't change. There is significant opportunity for great careers in the skilled trades.
• You don't have to join the military to serve our country. In 2020, the US Department of Defense declared that the deficit in U.S. manufacturing and engineering talent is one of the most vital challenges for the U.S. defense industrial base.
