How do you switch the damn thing off? I was manoeuvring round a car that turning off, my mazda cx3 sounded and felt like I'd run over a metal garbage can bringing me to an abrupt stop, much to my alarm and equally disturbing to the driver behind who nearly rear ended me. Enough of these silly gadgets!

I work at a Volvo dealership and the automatic braking in 2022 is stupid af. It just automatically slams on your breaks when there is clearly nothing behind you or in front of you. Literally if your about to run over a banana on the ground, it will slam on the brakes hard af. Scares the fk out of me every time. I drive Volvos all day every day and every single car has it. Stupidest invention ever.

I am pretty sure these multiple warning systems with vibrating and acoustic signals will only scare and confuse the driver, probably going away from his steering wheel because of the shock of the signal happenings. I have a collision warner in my suzuki and it does fail warnings at 100 % of the time and again and again for nothing...

I bought a Maza with this function but I've never tried it cause too scary

is this technology included in the Indian variant also....As per the NEXA website it says "Pedestrian Protection"...Do they mean this?? Or something else???

I thought these systems only worked at 18 mph (or around 28-29 kmh)
