I deactivated my IG this afternoon and immediately I was hit with immense waves of heavy emotions. Knowing deep down I’ve been distracted by social media to avoid to numb out intense feelings that I’ve been too scared to confront, I finally decided to get away from the distractions, alcohol included (5 days sober), and really just sit with all the fear, pain, grief, heartache, anger, sadness, frustration, etc that I’ve been running from in the form of social media and substances

Although I know that this video is not about university. I wanted to tell you that I fully agree with your view on schools and education in general. This spring I finished high school, and I am going to study Economics for the next 5 years at university. I was always a great student, classmates and teachers said that I am genius, and I will do very well in my future life. I had always the best grades. I learned only one day before the test and for a maximum of one hour. I know how to learn efficiently and since I am a big introvert I successfully observed through classes what will be in the test. But, in my mind, I absolutely hated the whole free and compulsory education. I think that I know a lot about various economic subjects despite the fact that we never had one class about economics. In one single year, the final year at high school we had fewer classes, so I had more free time. I read plenty of books online at mises.org. I really wanted to know what economists think about freedom, inflation, war, taxes, climate and so on. Two economists that had completely changed my mind were - Milton Friedman, with his book and TV series - Free to Choose and book Capitalism and Freedom, and Murray Rothbard, with his two books: first - For a New Liberty and second - Education - Free and Compulsory. In current days I also follow two great individuals - Ron Paul and John Stossel. One time I was a supporter of the current status quo in government and in education. Now, I have changed my mind and fully support freedom. Roman Geyer, Soulxsigh (both at Instagram) and you have helped me a lot in terms of my mental health and understanding what the purpose of my life is. I realized that everything would work out in the end. I don´t need to know how. I just have to trust that it will. I never commented under any video, so it is exceptional for me. I owe you a lot and I hope you are doing fine. Peace and love 😊 P.S. I am curious if the ending in your videos - peace and love - is inspired by Lennon's song Mind Games? Sometimes I get nervous around people who I don’t know, or when there’s a lot of people around me, I tend to use my phone as a coping mechanism. Phones are really an addiction. I miss being a little kid, enjoying what I had around me, playing with friends, being active, etc..

BUT YEA ok- my analysis, I think the “peak life moments” can be summed up to “feeling like the main character” in my head And in order to “feel like the main character” or have a “peak life moment”, you have to get out of your comfort zone! Often times in media, and movies and all that, depict the character being FORCED out of their comfort zone. Another thing. Your childhood is gonna be so memorable, and you may make friends, because you, at that age, feel like the main character! Every moment is a peak life moment because it’s NEW!!! So, get uncomfortable once. Stoopid. Anyways I feel like I should update. I have had one of the busiest weeks in a while. Because I joined a game jam, and I made a game in 4 days, and it was great, and I learned so much, and yea. “GMTK game jam 2024”, look that up if you don’t know what a game jam is. That TH-cam thing I was working on, is not dead or anything, I’m still making the video… It’s all animated. Because I’m shy of showing my face. And recording the voice over is actually killing my introvert self LMAO but I’ll finish it! There have been a few red sunsets during winter and once I absolutely had to get higher to see the sunset better, so I went in an inactive construction site on the top of a dirt and rocks pile. It was magical, definitely one of my peak life experiences
