Keychron K2 HE Sound Test (Thocky Hall-Effect Keyboard)
The Keychron K2 HE is a worthy contender to the Wooting 80HE and while it may not have the most polished software, it more than makes up for everything lost against Wootility in other more areas like build quality, design and wireless functionality. It has a satisfying thocky sound profile with decent screw-in stabs that don't need any tinkering out of the box.

Lucky65 V2 Clacky Sound Test | SWK Neon & GMK Metropolis
มุมมอง 745วันที่ผ่านมา
Modded this Lucky65 V2 for a clacky config and it turned out amazing. I know the GMK keycaps aren't exactly realistic for a budget keyboard but you can achieve 95% of this sound with ABS doubleshot clones from AliExpress. MODS DONE: Force Break mod Tape mod (single layer) Foamless, except PET Sheet Spacebar gaskets removed #customkeyboard #lucky65 #keyboard #soundtest #keyboard #mechanicalkeyboard

GMK Keycaps on Wooting 80HE - Detailed Comparison & Sound Tests
มุมมอง 1.6K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
A couple weeks ago, I was asked if GMK sounds good on Wooting and the timing was just perfect cuz I had acquired my first ever GMK set, Metropolis, a few days back. I decided to compare it with the stock PBT keycaps and it took me some time but the video is finally ready. Wooting 80HE is mostly a muted board due to its gasket mount and silicone dampening at the bottom so it really only thrives ...
Wooting 80HE Has Some Crazy RGB! (Wootility Showcase)
มุมมอง 10Kหลายเดือนก่อน
I was really impressed with the RGB implementation of the Wooting 80HE inside Wootility, which is already the best keyboard software but the way it makes setting up these complicated effects so effortless just further extends its lead. Apart from all the regular keys, the LED Bar this time around is a real game-changer and Wootility takes full advantage of that. This was my first-ever long form...
Record Alice V2: Stock vs Modded Sound Test (Thock vs Clack)
มุมมอง 385หลายเดือนก่อน
Record Alice V2 is a great ergo keyboard that lends itself well to high-pitched, clacky switches. I already knew HMX was gonna go great in this but some mods were required. There's quite a bit of metal resonance and slight hollowness as well. Moreover, the stabs are also also not perfect so I ended up doing a fully modded build to compare with a "thocky" stock one. Stock Config: Gateron Lunar P...

Wooting 80HE Keyboard Unboxing ASMR (+ Typing Sounds)
มุมมอง 2.4Kหลายเดือนก่อน
In this video, I unbox the new Wooting 80HE, arguably the best and most hyped gaming keyboard out right now. I was pleasantly surprised by the stock sound of this board and the use of screw-in stabs is also commendable. Wooting 80HE Stock Sound Test (Lekker V2 60g)
มุมมอง 2.7Kหลายเดือนก่อน
The new Wooting 80HE builds upon the legacy of its predecessor in nearly every way but nowhere is that more apparent than the stock typing experience. Gone are the rattly stabs and those scratchy Lekker V1s, in comes solid PCB-mount stabs and a much improved Lekker V2 that sounds thocky out the box. Combine that with the gasket-mount design, a soft polycarbonate plate and ample foam inside, and...
Aula F81 Transparent Keyboard Unboxing ASMR (+ Typing Sounds)
มุมมอง 3772 หลายเดือนก่อน
Aula F81 is the best transparent keyboard you can buy on a budget that has all the features with almost no compromises. Apart from the rattly stabs, this is a subjectively gorgeous board with lots of attention to detail, and great build quality. Overall, it sounds thocky with some modding potential due to its hotswap sockets. If you need a head-turner, this is guaranteed to stand out on any des...
Lucky65: Thocky vs Clacky Build | HMX Hyacinth No Foam, MMD Princess All Foam
มุมมอง 2.3K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video, I compare two very similar-looking yet very different builds of the Lucky65. On one hand you have the thocky, deep, marbly stock experience and on the other you have a clean, clacky and loud modded sound. Such versatility at this much of an affordable price is amazing. The stock build has MMD Princess linear switches inside with Aifei WOB keycaps, no tinkering done at all. The mo...
Lucky65 No-Foam Clacky Build | HMX Hyacinth V2
มุมมอง 2.5K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
The Lucky65 has been on my desk ever since I got it, and now it has finally reached a config where I think no more tinkering is required. By removing all foams, except the PET sheet, not only do I create a clack monster but also an incredibly bouncy typing experience. Sure, the sound is not as full as like a Cycle7, but for this price, it's hard to complain. Check out my full review of the Luck...
Aula F81 Transparent Keyboard - Stock Sound Test (Leobog Ice Soul)
มุมมอง 3862 หลายเดือนก่อน
Despite my opnion that this board looks a bit too tacky, the stock sounds is not bad. If you're a fan of "thock" you'll probably love this, bar the poor stabs. In this budget, it's probably the best transparent keyboard with no compromises. It has great build quality and Aula has really embraced the see-through design with some extra flourishes here and there. Check out my full review of the Au...

where did you put the force break?
@@c_lay8382 there are little divots in the top case which should actually have some foam applied from the factory but Weikav left it as is. So I just put two layers of tape in each of those, and some tape on the underside of the top case's center as well to combat the pinging. Here's my full review and you can see pictures in it to better understand what I mean: tech4gamers.com/record-alice-review/

great video, my 80he is arriving in a couple of days and i am so excited

First!!!
Sounds great :)
What is name of this keycaps I need them
GMK Metropolis
Sounds really nice
Sounds good bro. Just wondering, did you tune the stab wires for this build?
nope, didn't touch the stab wires as the holee mod pretty much covers up everything
which keycaps are these?

Does the pet sheet amplify the sound without making the keyboard sound deeper? I like higher pitched sounds so I always remove foam and the ixpe sheet. I would like to try the pet sheet
@@drwdcnl yup precisely
@@sainteagle4426 Awesome! Ill try this mod out
@@drwdcnl PET sheet comes with some of the newer boards from Weikav like the Lucky65 and Sugar65, and probably in some others as well but I'm not sure if you can get it separately for modding
Love Xinhai on a Record Alice! Hyperboring makes fr4 plates for the Spring that fit this board perfectly... if you want a little extra clack! That set looks really good on the silver! Have you tried the V1? Would be nice to have wireless!
@@StillthatguyJake thank you, I'll check those out! No I haven't tried V1 but it should be identical sound and feel wise. My friend actually got a V1 and bricked it when upgrading the firmware so I made sure to get the V2 😅
@@sainteagle4426 Yeah, aside from adding a wireless PCB and batteries, the board is essentially identical. I guess I just thought maybe the battery might change the sound a bit. I've not tried to upgrade my firmware and will make sure I don't brick and of my V1's lol
crispy and clacky , sweet
Split keyboards really get me going, shame there arent gaming split keyboards lol

Bro my Wooting 80he Zinc alloy didn't come with a plastic dust cover. Bummer :(
I love the 80HE
remove the PET and the PE and tape the flexcut it will less thin
This already sounds pretty full tho, you can check out my other video on the channel where I compare a foamless config with a stock one
i really like the video and how you went deep about the rgb which it really cool and i havent seen videos about it but i got a question can i use a static rgb color like for example blue and use the aoe effect with different color like red so when i press the key slightly the color change to purple and if press deeper it gets redder until it becomes red?
unfortunately you cannot select a custom color for the AOE effect, the RGB dims/turns off and AOE only lights up whatever you already have going on in the previous layers
@@sainteagle4426 thanks for answering <3
thanks, havent seen people go in depth on the RGB only bad thing is that I still have to wait a month for mine to come in :(
Can you share the profile code please? Great video highlighting each effect
Impressive! The rgb layering is looks to be well implemented, can't wait to give it a try :)
This video is very well made and in depth steps, this deserves more likes
very very nice and in depth thanks! p.s you did miss the inverted effect of ripple it's actually my favourite where all the rgb is on and clicking a key turns the rgb off really cool and gives it like a water feeling :)
Ooh my bad 😅 I had limited time with the keyboard so didn't come across that one
really well made

I like tactike switches a lot becauae of the feeling of typing. The lecker arent tactile right ? Is it possibie to put tactile quite ones in it or how do they feel?
@@LeJulles yes you can put tactile switches in this, or really any other hall-effect switch you like. Wooting only gives you the option to buy with Lekker V2 linears (45g or 60g) and they feel good, similar to any other modern linear. No spring ping or scratchiness, consistent factory lubing, minimal stem wobble; overall a huge improvement over the original Lekkers but they still don't have a closed off bottom like Gateron Jades.
Do you recommend this switch or the v2u?
@@sauk_1587 I haven't tried the v2u but V2 are ever so slightly louder whereas V2u are the more "mainstream" version of the same switch with a sort of rounded-off sound that's deeper, aka more pleasant to everyone's ears. V2 on the other hand is pure clacky, similar to HMX Xinhai. In my opinion, that makes it better because you can control the depth yourself by adding or removing the PE sheet. For instance you can hear how marbly they sound in this Lucky65 build, but still bright and loud. If I remove the PE sheet or put them in a board that's less foam-reliant then they'll become clack monsters.
why it flex so bad when you press it?
Because of the gasket mount and polycarbonate plate, the keyboard is quite soft
loveeee
heat video bro keep it up brotha 🙏
the alice v2 is a beautiful keyboard, gaterons constantly prove cheap switches are still great
Oh boy the budget boards are getting better. It would sound so good on 1.6mm pcb
plastic looks way better than I thought it would great vid
Sounds pretty awful, but then again, I’m accustomed to using fully custom built keyboards.
yes it's not good by custom standards but it's really good for a prebuilt gaming keyboard
Could you test gateron melodics with foam in this board please?
And maybe without foam if its not too much trouble
@@Bugged6708 I don't own the gateron melodics yet but if I get my hands on them soon I'll test them for sure
I like this short videos to showcase keyboard's sounds, keep it up!
sounds bad.
@@Speedy94uru yeah it doesn't hold a candle to customs but pretty decent for a gaming keyboard
say one keyboard that sounds better haha
you drunk?
IMO the only objectively bad part is the spacebar. The switches aren't bad but has some room for improvement, but I also definitely don't hear the spring chatter that I've heard some complain about. I think if anything the only thing that would help a ton is replacement keycaps but the board doesn't really need much modification in its plastic config unless you wanna have a deeper thock to it which imo it doesn't need.
@@Artjoooom Any custom can sound better than this, but as a gaming keyboard its sounds fine.
