Hey remember camping? Me too -- barely! I managed to find a campground with weekend availability and no minimum, so I booked it up to Rim country for a night. There was even time for a roadside picnic, using the bento nano-kitchen and a stop at a magical meadery in the woods. At camp, I had so much new gear to try out, including turning the ammo can into a tiny kitchen -- more of THAT in a future video.
There are also a heap of 4Runner update videos coming soon, including: roof rack install, the rifle case rooftop storage box, and auxiliary switches and offroad lighting. Keep an eye out for those!

Thanks so much! If you mean the black ones, I always get compliments on them when I show them in a video -- which is kinda funny -- because they are just kids' water shoes that I got from Target ages ago. They have been pretty great for some cheapo shoes!

Highly recommend, especially if you are already using butane. The torch attachment is like $10 and speeds things right along. I believe they also make them for propane and isobutane canisters.

At approximately what night time temperature do you feel it's too warm to comfortably sleep in your SUV?
I think 85 is probably the max for me -- and that's a desert 85, not a soggy humid 85.

Hi, Martha! What an amazing camp location! I will have to decipher the "clues" and add this to my I Want To Go There list. Sedona, in general, is already on the list... but SUV camping is my new mode. 😁 Would love to see a video of how you level your vehicle at sites. I hear you reference it in so many of your videos, but can't say I've seen you document the orocess.
I don't really have a process, it's more by... feel? If it feels sloped, I pull forward and put some rocks under the tires of the low end, and then gently back up on top of them. Repeat as necessary. In this case, there was a handy rock shelf right where I needed to lift up my passenger rear tire. No rock stacking needed!
