Just imagine if China issued an executive order that immediately stopped all shipment of goods to the U.S. Just think about that for a minute. Would we be screwed? I think we all know the answer. What if the U.S. issued an executive order that says we will completely break off all trade with China with XX months (as to not totally devastate our economy). We would have significant hardships, but China would be screwed. Now let's step back and think intelligently about our policy towards China and theirs towards us and the rest of the world.
