LANCE ABAIR
Biography
Mufti-instrumentalist who specializes in keyboards and saxophone, BMI-affiliated songwriter.
Educator in the field of musical stage entertainment.
Helped establish a nationally known school of entertainment -- Young American Showcase - where he was responsible 'for developing a curriculum for teaching the concepts and theory of stage performance and communication.
Recording engineer and producer. Owns a MIDl/multitrack recording studio where he produces jingles, song demos, and custom albums.
Long-time Regional Product Specialist for KORG USA, Inc. His primary area of operation has been in the Southeast, although he can be found doing clinics and seminars at major music educational conventions throughout the entire United States.
Working Musician. Currently touring the U.S. playing keyboards and saxophone in the Mark Farner Band (Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad fame).
Producer of Instructional Videotapes. The "FreeLance Goes To School " video owner's manual series includes several KORG products: the M1, the O1/WFD and the 03RM.

HOW TO GET AROUND ON THIS TAPE
With close to two hours of playing time on this video, there is a system to help you know where you are at any point so that you can get around more easily. This video is divided into SECTIONS which are subdivided into TOPICS. There is a title page at the beginning of each section and a Color Index Bar at the beginning of each topic. Each Section's colored index bars are of a different color. Inside the color index bar is the number of the section, the number of the topic and the title of the topic. It reads like this 2.2 The Factory Disk.
This means, Section 2, Topic 2, The Factory Disk. These color index bars stay on for a few seconds at the beginning of each topic so that you can use them when you do high speed backward and forward searching on the tape. By locating the nearest color index bar you have a way of determining your tape location.
