There's memory on the main lights but not the side lights.

@@eighty.2 It's very strange. I have a 4th generation flashlight, but when I switch the main light to Low mode, then turn it off and on again, it shines in the first High mode.

The colored lights are low-powered LEDs primarily meant for auxiliary functions, not for illumination. They're more for decorative or indicator purposes.

I’ll definitely review the V30 once I get my hands on it! It hasn’t been released yet, but I'm excited to see what Boruit comes up with. As for the best version, it really depends on what features you're looking for. Each model has its own unique qualities. I agree that Boruit does a great job listening to their customers, and it’s awesome to hear that you requested a V30 with a laser! Let's hope they make it happen!

I love the color, design, and all the functions it offers for the price. You might also want to check out the Wuben X2 Pro; it’s quite similar.

Thanks so much for subscribing; it really means a lot! In my opinion, the best Boruit EDC flashlight right now is the V20s. But if you need a UV light, the V20-1 is a great choice. My favorite EDC flashlight, which I use daily, is the Wuben X2.

On medium, I got about 2 hours and 34 minutes of battery life. That should give you a good idea of what to expect!

I get what you mean! I really liked the V15 clip too; it’s super sturdy. The V20 clip isn't a major downgrade, though-it still does the job well for an EDC light.

I'd go with the Boruit V20-1 if you need the UV light-it’s brighter, has more functions, and offers better value for the price. The Rovyvon A8 is a great option if you prefer something tiny and compact

I actually prefer flashlights without zoom. They tend to have a more consistent beam and better durability. But I get why some people like the flexibility of a zoom function

Yes, the V20-1 UV light is brighter and more powerful than the V10. With two UV emitters, it provides double the output. When I checked the security strip on a $100 bill, it was noticeably brighter with the V20-1.

Great point! Boruit does seem to frequently update their V series, so it wouldn't be surprising if they release a version with a more powerful battery in the future. If this model proves popular, we might see some exciting new features in the next update!

Thanks for the tip! I tried using synthetic grease, but unfortunately, it didn't work on the prototype unit I have. I've heard that this issue has been addressed in the final production version, though!

@@eighty.2 well when I first assembled mine, nothing indexed and once I applied some grease, it allowed each piece to rotate just further enough to all line up.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree, indicator lights can be a bit much, especially when they stay on and drain the battery. If you’re referring to the blue lights on the side, you can actually turn them off. I’ll make sure to cover more on indicator lights in future reviews.

@@eighty.2 Yea you can turn them off, but there is no reason for an idicator light to exist. The flashlight is on or off, why do i need a seperate to tell the flashlight is on ? This makes no sense at all to have this. A battery level indicator is somethinf diffrent, a power on/off indicator is the most useless thing ever on a flashlight, you can see if the flashlight is on or off

@@BoomixDe You're right; I got this flashlight mixed up with another one. I agree that the side lights on the Wuben X3 are pretty pointless. Even if you wanted the indicator, your hand would cover it while using the flashlight. It doesn't serve any real purpose and could have been left out.
