I'm very red like that, everywhere! I totally know how you feel when you said blending the corrector can cause some extra redness to show through! I've had to learn to embrace the red and live with it! There will never be enough coverage to cover all the red! I love to see that there are others who feel the way I do! Also thank you for the blush tip. I never know which shade goes well when you have pale skin with redness!

Hello. I like your video, and I think I will have a look at some of the palettes you showed. But since this video is about cruelty free products, here is a little add-on about the Urban Decay Naked palette. If it all comes down to our own concept of what is animal cruelty, here are some facts that people should know before buying a Naked palette. The Naked palette shadows contain a reddish pigment extracted from dead bugs, called Carmine. Usually, you can find that pigment in make up under the names of CI75470, crimson lake, natural red 4, cochineal extract, Kermes vermilio, carminic acid... as well as in food (E120). So how do we know the brand uses an extract from bugs in its products? Easy, the composition of each palette can be found the official Urban Decay website. - NAKED : "COMPOSITION. All shades may contain: CI 75470 (Carmine)" - NAKED2 : "COMPOSITION. All shades may contain: CI 75470 (Carmine)" - NAKED3 : "COMPOSITION. May contain: CI 75470 (Carmine)" - NAKED Heat: "COMPOSITION. CI 75470 / Carmine" How funny to realize that for the Naked Heat palette, they don't even bother to write "may contain" anymore, as it's just a blatant fact that the shades were made with carmine. But sure, it gives the palette an overall wonderful pigmented, reddish colour. I'm not a vegan so I don't mind the use of some ingredients such as wax or wool... Yet when I buy a product with the thought that it is cruelty free, I expect it not to be tested on animals, and even less extracted from their bodies. Not knowing what carmine was about when I bought my Urban Decay Naked Four Some, I put my faith in that "Cruelty free" tag they label themselves with on their website. So learning about the true essence of carmine came as a shock. I sent Urban Decay a message to know how they justify the use of carmine for a Cruelty free brand, but have yet to receive an answer. They say ignorance is a sin, I should have known better.

I’m glad you showed the heart Too Faced bronzer! I’ve been kinda wanting it, but I’m similar in tone to you. I swatched my collection of bronzers and if I wanted to go all bam and look tan, I’d always look orange! Only one is my perfect tan shade and it’s the Physicians Formula bronzing pearls and I’m mad at them for shade range. I recently up Wet N Wilds You’re Dragon Me Down and that one works nice too. Right now, it’s end of summer and I’m darker, but I tan the weirdest shade, I can get pretty dark, but I get a greyish purple tan shade! So hard to match lol

I was so tempted to buy one of the Marc Jacobs, and Hourglass eyeshadows...but even with the discount I couldn't see myself spending almost $30 on a single shadow. Keep us updated on how they preformed, is it worth the price? I was hesitant to get the gloss stick, but I did bite the bullet and got the mauve shade and absolutely love it.❤ Always enjoy your hauls!😄

Great haul, Lauren! I'm a proponent of retail therapy! I ordered the saphire (my September birthstone) beauty blender and some MJ lip gloss sticks, but haven't gotten them in the mail yet. I love any moisturizing lip product so I think they'll be perfect. Can't wait!

I love how we have the same taste in makeup! Love Farmacy, can use on wet or damp skin and use a tiny bit and lasts forever but makes a huge difference. I’m wanting to get the Marc Jacobs eyeshadow in the same shade too! I love his reasoning behind them, he did make them with the knowledge of people being upset at hitting pan on their base or highlight shades in palettes and having so much of the other shades left. It’s like finally, someone listening to us! You look beautiful, too and I’m sorry you and your husband are apart. That’s sad! Do you get to go visit there as well?
