Salmon fishing on the river Coquet.
Another trip out chasing Salmon and rewarded again with another double figure fish weighing in at approx 15lb. Unfortunately my fishing wing man and camera man decided to go on holiday during the last two weeks of the Salmon season so I was fishing solo.
Thanks for watching.

Some of you will know I really enjoy my fishing, and from time to time I post a little video of my pursuits. This year I have been focusing on chasing salmon and sea trout and have been fortunate enough to catch my first Salmon, and my first double figure fish weighing in at approx 12lb. I was lucky enough on this occasion Gavin was on hand to video the fish, so I've made a short video for my m...

Awesome video 😊
Brilliant mate! Hopefully I can join the club next season!
@@pauljamieson5357 Make it happen m8, Fish onnnnnn 🎣🎣😄
I’m very surprised that this video doesn’t have more views, likes and comments. Some great footage, especially from the drone. It’s an area that I’m hoping to explore over the next few weeks (weather permitting) but I’m new to hiking, so will have to gradually build up to the longer routes. Thanks for making the video 👍🏻
@@tonyf68 Hi, some of my vids are poor TBF and others much better. Also since the arrival of my son time has been so limited to get out and make vids but hopefully in the near future I'll get back to it 🙂. It's a beautiful area to explore, and a good mix of low and higher levels walks. Just take your time and enjoy it, atvb Andy
@@getaviewinya2664 spending lots of time with your son while he’s young is way more important than making videos, enjoy!!
It's nice to see you back out there mate. Welcome back. I've had to take a little time away from TH-cam as well, but it's time to get back out there. Love the time-lapse. Looking forward to your upcoming videos. Take care out there. Atb Mick
Such a good boy 😊
Did u catch anything
@@Vipergamer09616 Plenty of Mackerel mate for the first hour then went really quiet 👍🏻
Smashing timelapse, beautiful up there 👍
@@grahamswildcamping thanks m8, hoping to get up there again soon weather permitting, might try black hag where you were m8, looked like a good camp, ATB Andy
@@getaviewinya2664 yeah, Black Hag was really nice, but tbf the weather was really on our side that night 👍
@@grahamswildcamping definitely had good conditions mate, we got a little battered but still a good camp. Very exposed up there on the ridges.
Looks gorgeous! ❤
Hi Mate, Great Video!. I want head this weekend with Friends to Wild camping at davidson's Linn but i Got 5h driving and i have question where there i Can leave car for overnight? :) thank You
Hi mate, thanks for watching 😊, depending on what route your wanting to walk in to Davidson linn, I would park at Wedder Leap car park for the more scenic route up and over middle hill etc and turn right into the road to the farm and away to the waterfall. For a bit more of a road walk which might be easier on the legs depending on what kit your carrying, I would park at the entrance area to Rowhope NT 85973 11444. Hope this helps m8, atb Andy
Also, a work of warning mate, there is still a lot of storm damage to the forest so best off heading towards uswayford farm NT 88696 14629 then towards the waterfall m8 👍
@@getaviewinya2664 thank You mate i will check this out! And You maybe how Best get to HARDHOPE LINN? that Little waterfall?? :)
@@pawels2497 No worries mate, if your referring to Harthope linn waterfall, off memory you park at Langleeford Ford up the Harthope valley and follow the PROW and you should come across the waterfall to the best if my knowledge m8. Been a long time since I've been up that route 👍
@@getaviewinya2664 thank You a lot i try a bit Wild if i have time and with who but i just Start exploring Northumberland, the Biggest problem for me is when we drive from Leicestershire few hours i wish find always spot for leave car for overnight and that mostly problem becouse main carparks not allows doing this
Great day out. I've always wanted to do the henhole but don't think i have the fitness now. Just found your channel. Look forward to watching more. Thanks for sharing
Hi there, thank you for commenting and subscribing. It's beautiful up there, especially in spring when all the wildlife is starting to re appear after the Winter. One of the beauties about the outdoors is there is no entry fitness level or deadlines. It's nice just to wonder and see where you get to with no pressures or judgement. On that day my partner and I paid for the day pass and parked in the valley about a mile or so away from the beginning of the hen hole, with just the thought of going up as far as she could manage. Ended up spending 12 hours taking our time up the waterfalls then up to the cheviot and back down over Auchope, a long day but well worth it.
Nice video mate. I lived in Byrness as a kid in the 70’s and used to go to the spout frequently. The easiest way is to follow the forestry road from Chattlehope farm until it meets Chattlehope Burn then follow the burn up to the spout The old info boards are defunct so I would ignore them. FYI the reservoir is pronounced Catcluff. Thanks for the vid. Nice to see someone appreciating the wild beauty up there.
❤️❄️
You should see it now the forest has gone 😢
Hi Mate....loved the video....thanks for taking us along. Looked tough going .... especially the damage the storm has done. So would you recommend going up the way you came down?...did look easier. Would it be too cheeky of me to ask where you parked? I'm planning to visit in a few weeks Alb....Mick
Hi mate, thanks for watching... And deffo not cheeky at all. I parked in the layby which is not far away from the reservoir, it is on the left hand side if your heading northbound. It is a much easier walk heading up the way I came back, however it was very very boggy and we had very little rain at the time. Might be best waiting till winter has toughened the ground up or a good spell of dry weather. The marked trail on the os map may have been cleared but was about a year ago or so since I was up there. But any more questions I'm happy to help as much as I can 🙂, atb Andy
Not long enough

HI and nice to see you out, i recognised the path you took, must have a trip back to harwood, missed you in my comments cheers Adrian
Hi mate, I've been saving all the vids up to watch when I'm working nights this week so will be having a bit of a binge watch 😁. When your next up at Harwood you might need a full on fly suit, they were horrendous . Atb Andy
I camped up there last night - looks like they've painted the trig point since you were there!
Thanks for watching, I must say I've noticed a few trig's bright white from a distance when I've been out. Much easier to spot now. Hopefully you had a good night up there with some good views. Atb Andy
❤Beautiful ❤
Thank you 😊
Apparently u met my lad Jamie today at Harwood, he said he was chatting with u for ages ! 😅😂👍
Hi mate, I did yes. I do love a good chin wag lol... Very lovely lad and plenty good stories. I'm assuming he was with his girlfriend. A very lovely couple and good company 👍.
Happy birthday to you 🎉. What a great way to spend your birthday. Not done hungry law so it'll be going on my list. Enjoyed the video thanks for sharing. Best wishes to your missus 🎉congratulations

HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎉😁🍻🎂
Thank you 😊
Fantastic views on the tops. Great clouds that day. Best wishes on the next. First time watching.
Thank you for watching 😊. Rare I get a chance to get across to the lakes atm, but I live in Northumberland and spend time wandering about in the cheviots if that's of any interest. Thanks again for watching. Atb Andy
We are looking at the happiest dog in North humberland.
Nice one mate. Need to explore Harwood myself when I get the time. Btw the sound goes at about 13:35 to 14:02
Hi mate, thank you for watching, I've had a watch and I've no idea what's happened with the sound, it was fine before I uploaded it on the pc so I'll have to keep a closer eye on the next upload. Thanks for pointing that out 👍. It's a fantastic place to wonder about, especially when it's poor weather and you just need to stretch the legs as it affords some shelter from the elements. I'm actually off up there today just to get some exercise ☺️. Thanks again for watching, Atb Andy
Very relaxing and beautiful hiking, i enjoyed it. New $ub here, stay connected friend! 😁🎁👍
Congratulations mate. Looking forward to seeing the adventures with family in the future. Atb Mick
