DIY Easy Keezer Collar
This is my keezer collar build. It took about a week to finish. I am by no means a handy man or professional builder, but this was pretty simple to do with some help from my father. There are a lot of designs out there, but this one is simple and not to look at. I can also now fit 3 kegs! Like and subscribe for more videos like this!

Perlick 630SS Review
มุมมอง 3.5K7 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the faucet assembly I ordered from the RiteBrew website. I am glad I ordered from them and saved. They were quick with emailing back and shipping and were nice enough to check on the parts I was ordering to make sure they worked together. Here is the list of parts I got: 2 of : 843165 - Perlick Perl Faucet - Stainless Steel 2 of : 843240 - Black Plastic Faucet Knob 2 of : 843245 - Fauce...
Thai Cream Ale Part 3: Bottling
มุมมอง 547 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the 3rd part of the Thai cream ale process. I used regular table sugar to prime the bottle by making a simple solution and cooling the boil. The carbonation process went well, I kept a few uncarbonated just out of curiosity. Like and sub for more videos like this! IG: SicklerBrews Untappd: SicklerBrews
Thai Cream Ale Part 2
มุมมอง 417 ปีที่แล้ว
This is part 2 of the Thai cream ale recipe I am trying out. The process was too long to fit into a single video, so here is the end of the brewing process before fermentation. I explain how I use my wort chiller and you can see some of my equipment as well. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to comment! Instagram: Sicklerbrews
Thai Cream Ale Part 1
มุมมอง 887 ปีที่แล้ว
Sorry for the audio when I speak on some parts, I do not have a pic for outdoor settings. I was introduced to This Iced Tea recently and it inspired me to try this. I found a cream ale recipe and got a hold of some Thai tea leaves from a local store. Keg and Barrel, my local home brew store, had everything else I needed and was interested in how this would turn out and offered some great tips! ...
Hops in a box planter
มุมมอง 3527 ปีที่แล้ว
This is how I made my box planter for the Centennial Hops I am growing. This will be the 2nd year for this plant and I want to give it the space it needs. It was a fairly simple project my father helped me with.

This is my trip down to Rockville, MD for the World of Beer Drink It Intern Interviews 2017. I had a blast meeting people and making new connections. Definitely sparked some ideas. I plan to make more videos about my brewing experiences so stay tuned. Follow my Beerstigram: @Sicklerbrews Update: I did not make the final round! Maybe next year!

    This is the best finish I've seen! Esp like the inside primer & the magnet attached drip tray! Would you add any insulation? Thanks!

      @sicklerbrews2852 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dayne Anderson mine is fine without instulation! Do add a moisture trap you see online on other videos and forums. I haven’t yet, but I have water that builds up at the bottom if I have a lot of beer higher up in the basket. It takes longer to cool those down and it creases condensation. Apparently a moisture trap is a fix for that. The outter trim fell off after some rain for a 4th of July party, maybe because of the old glue I used, but everything else stands strong to this day. Please keep me posted on your build!

    What is the set temp?

    • @sicklerbrews2852
      @sicklerbrews2852 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kyaw Thuya at the moment it’s about 40 degrees Celsius so it accounts for warming to the glass when poured. I have the probe zip tied to a corona bottle if that helps. Cold enough to stay cold when poured, but not disturb the warming process for flavor and aroma

      @sicklerbrews2852 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, and yea I regret not doing that in the first place. I planned to get a mini keg or a third keg in general meaning I'd add another tap and then it'd look centered, but that never happened and now I'm left with an lop sided collar and taps lol but it works as it should so no complaint. Just not as nice of an esthetic as I'd like

    I bought a chest freezer for fermenting but it's too small so i'm turning it into a keezer. My question is what's the point of the wood riser? Is it just for more height space. Couldn't you just drill through the chest freezer itself? looks great might have to try this.

    I wouldn't call this easy at all, and I mean that as a compliment.. that's a very comprehensive build and looks real nice with the trim pieces. I wonder how much more efficient this could be with a .5 - 1" foam board insulation inside...

    What size freezer did you start w? 5 cu ft?

    • @sicklerbrews2852
      @sicklerbrews2852 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michelle Di Biase I honestly do not remember, my apologies for not putting the exact freezer details in the description, very unlike me to skip that I'm usually thorough! I want to say 7 cubic ft. I can check later today if you're really interested, at work now so I can't look into it at the moment.

      Michelle Di Biase it's 7.1! Just checked. It has the bump inside for the motor and pumps and all that junk, but I use that for cases and loose beers. You could also put your co2 tank on that part.

    Dude!!! You saved me a ton of time. Thanks for listing everything. This is EXACTLY the set up I was looking for, but I only ordered one. Too bad RiteBrew.com doesn't have an affiliate program available. You could make a small commission from every referred sale.

      Glad I could be of help! I'm not looking for commission, I do this because no one else out there does the little details like this. I do my own research and I want to share what I find to make life easier for someone else in the same spot at me. However, I would totally take free parts and equipment for home brewing haha Share the video if you think anyone else would benefit
