it is real...so I give each a blanket to sleep on, but one will eventually abandon his blanket and sleep with his brother's. Even when eating, they prefer to eat together, side by side, than apart. If taken to the vet, they have to be together otherwise, the one left behind will keep on howling until his brother returns. That's how real it is.

If you have a Doberman with a watch dog personality they’re usually very quiet. They hang out in the shadows and wait for someone to hop the fence, then they step into the light so you can see them and give you the chance to go back over that fence. If you get closer to the house they’ll get closer to the door. They know they can get to the door faster than you so there’s no need to bark or growl. Like the Chinese say, if you want to hunt tigers don’t beat the war drums, just go to the jungle, the tiger will meet you!

Mine is at 1 one and constantly move around and pretty hyper. I hope she eventually calm down. She does like to play with her toys but doesn't chew on stuff anymore.

what about being in tune with owner emotions? is that correct that females can more easily "read" teir owner fellings and emotions than males? (I understand that all doberman dogs are very in tune with human emotions, but females are even more?

Agree to disagree. The points you mentioned are correct on American Dobermanns. The European Dobermann have much more different characters. I'd rather have a female and male Dobermann. Then only a male or female Dobermann

Are your dobermans European ? I came here trying to figure out how much hyper are the malinois compared to dobes .. Loiks like dobes can chill easily unlike the mal ?

Hello how much food in cups do you feed them per day? I just rescued two 6month old pups and everywhere I look online people rec maybe 6 cups per day. Seems a little on the low side that would be 3 cups morning and 3 cups night looks like your dogs are eating a lot more.

Their bark can rattle you. They are very effective at keeping people at a distance.

having a male dobe, i will say my dog love 99% of people he meets. now around the house, he is going to do his job and warn peeps of his presence

hey, I probably have not heard if you said it but how does it take kg per meal? I thought of taking a dobie and feeding it with boiled livers made on pate, beef or chicken meet, soup of boiled bones, rice, eggs and probably some others things... We feed our kitten with such mixes and he seems happy with it. I have not thought for the granules though... I had a german shepherd before but I never looked at how much it eats as kg. And right now this is the main problem I face - not having enough information about the kg. of the food.

Brown rice is good for dogs as well white rice is more likely to cause heart issues when there older. Thanks for the recipe bro keep up the work
