I always prefer to shrink the Windows C partition with Windows Disk Manager because it is the safest way for Windows. You can also use Gpart on PopOS to shrink it, but the process may not proceed as expected. Greetings

Once you have selected the language, no changes have been made to your computer. Just close the PopOS installer and restart the computer to load Windows.

This error usually occurs when the system partition is set to inactive. Make it active and then try again like this: In DiskPart, type "list partition" and press Enter to see the partitions on the drive. Select the EFI partition. Type "active" and press Enter to set the selected partition as active. Then try again. Greetings

@quickandeasytools im trying to install ubuntu in external hdd with the help of ventoy app this app let you use multiplie os in one usb So i was trying to install ubuntu in it And i did the ubuntu install manual It created 1st partition sb1 for root and mounted it to '/' and it created 2nd partition by him self as sdb2 as efi and set bootloader to install in external drive . In the last when ubuntu started installing it showed something went wrong

Hello. 1. "and why in your screen doesn't show Ubuntu Efi" - In the video, you can see only one EFI partition where I delete only the Ubuntu folder. 2. "and why you delete Microsoft EFI" - I don't delete the Windows folder anywhere. I guess your confusion comes in the part where I set the "Letter" of the EFI partition in the MiniTool Partition Wizard to show, and at the end of the video I remove the "Letter" to hide it. With MiniTool Partition Wizard, I only delete the EXT4 partition on which Ubuntu is installed. Greetings

Hello. PopOS has requirements for a larger EFI partition size, and you have to be careful because you may have two EFI partitions. It depends on how you installed it. In any case, you should not delete the "boot" and "Microsoft" folders. So I recommend that you first see with MiniTool Partition Wizard what partitions you have on the disk, and if you are not clear, describe to me what they are so that I can guide you as to what you need to delete. UEFI first. Keep in mind that it may not work on some systems. I've had a case with a Lenovo Thinkpad that failed. I don't agree with you. I have been using OpenSuse Tumbleweed for over three months. I previously tried Leap because they recommended it for new users. However, out of curiosity, I installed Tumbleweed, and I am very happy. I haven't had any problems, and I even think Tumbleweed works faster. So far I've only used Fedora, and that's all my experience with Linux.

Try with Debian and write what happened.

@@quickandeasytools Ok I was trying to install Debian over a month and idk how but i did it now. And i can boot it now, only from advanced settings menu for windows(when u press shift and reboot). Do you know any way to boot grub instead of windows. Also i dont see grub on bios and windows is on the bottom of the boot list.

Install rEFInd boot manager to avoid these problems in the future.
