I dont think putting 'season 1' in the title makes much sense with this show. "Season 1" ended with loguetown. Anime is usually separated into sagas and/or arcs. We're currently in the Alabasta Saga which contains reverse mountain arc, whiskey peak arc, little garden arc and so on.. It doesnt really matter, its just the terminology that gets used in the community. So i guess.. welcome to the one piece nerds

So the islands in the grand line are highly magnetic. These magnetic fields are so strong they mess up compasses, basically the compass doesnt know where north is. These magnetic fields are also linked to eachother, so each island has another island that is strongly pulls towards. The log pose is a special compass that picks up this strong pull to the next island. At the start of the grand line there are 7 of these magnetic pulls that you can choose from, Luffy chose Whiskey Peak. Whiskey peak is strongly linked to Little Garden. So when they arrived on Whiskey Peak the log pose would have spun like a normal compass in the grand line until it "connected" to the magnetic pull of Little Garden. The time it takes for the log pose to reconnect to the next island varies. Also there are Eternal poses that are permanently linked to one islands magnetic pull. So the log pose Miss All Sunday tried to give Luffy was an eternal pose to an island called "Nothing Island". So that eternal pose would have always pointed to Nothing Island if Luffy hadn't smashed it lol.

I think you could eat dinosaurs, I mean birds evolved from dinosaurs so my answer would be yes. Depending on the dinosaur We can't eat crows but we can eat almost every type of bird. So i would say yes.

The log pose compass concept is not that hard to understand. it’s pretty simple and important to the story so I suggest going back and getting a grasp of it

Great react, The advantage of live action is that you already know things 1000 episodes ahead, so there are a lot of things in the future that will tie in with the beginning in the live action, Garp being Luffy's grandfather is one of them.

The Log pose records the magnetism of the next island and so it points to the next island.

Its not all about luffy there are pot if aspects to one piece world and you'll love to see the working for that

I think you'll really like Garp. Live action Garp isn't jolly enough imho. Anime Garp makes a LOT more sense that they're related because they're so similar in personalities. Also great observation about the impact Luffy has had on Coby. A good one to pay attention to as you get deeper into the story :)

Im surprised no one ever makes this reference but its like experiencing a bd but in our time emotional wise. Quit using live action as a basis because they changed a lot , one piece is the original. Garp is a much better character in anime

To answer a question you asked Garp is still related to Luffy but for manga and anime only fans that isn't told to us til episode 314 which is why having his tied spoiled in the live action so early really made a lot of fans upset since new watchers like you have that taken from you if you ever decided to watch the anime/read the manga.

Yo, T, for real though. Why are you reading the subtitles instead of keeping your eyes fixed on this $250 million dollar visual extravaganza? You do speak English, right? lol And no, Salo isn't dead. He's just taking a nap for the rest of his life. Mel is the illegitimate child Ambessa had after Kino. The Black Rose is who Ambessa has been trying to secure Hex-tech to fight against back in Noxus since season 1. They kidnapped Mel because Mel is "different" than the rest of her family, as was explained in this episode. Not that hard to follow along with.

I also 3d animated in the past. I was a rigger to be more precise. The backgrounds in the show are mostly 2d paintings. And the textures for the characters are also directly painted in something like Mudbox and purposely kept NOT to be realistic OR cartoony but...expressive. Like with Vi and Jinx you can always tell they have more grunge and dirt on them than the characters from topside.
