finally got the s10 back to the track and was not disappointed. everyone in our group did great!

Did you use the stock driveshaft?
We had a shortened c10 one here that ended up working
What oil pan did you use
I'm a Florida boy (P'cola) My dad gave me my 1st car,a 73 El Camino. It was my hot rod. But I always wanted a 4x4 Elk. That was the best car I ever had. My dad passed a couple years ago, it's cool to see this. Hell yeah! Bring her back bro! I got a 73 and some 87, 89 one with iroc front end. You got me in the building mood. Thanks

@bradbryant2535 controls the old engine It's been awhile so I can't exactly remember 100% i found a pinout of the old one before I removed it.
Did you had to change the engine mounts from the 5.3 to the 6.0?

how is it holding up to this day? i just purchased one for myself
Good the switch panel had a leak on the bleeder valve I called rough country and they sent a whole new kit minus bags
@WrecklessGarage good to know they're customer service is good, this is my first time buying from rc, they're gonna be here in two days

The whole truck is done with an lines now but there's nothing wrong with compression fittings they've been around longer than me. Send me a check if you want to tell me how to do things 🙂

Had hard brake pedal,then soft at times. Brake light would on and trans would up shift and down shift. Just disconnected abs.93 s-10 2.5 with 460le.no light for now, trans doing good. Will clean speed sensor connect, may have built-up of trans fluid.
I like the paint job on the cab and front end. I'd try to do the bed the same way.

I have an 02 2x4 tahoe and a 2004 lq9 out of an 05 Denali and it's all wheel drive . Can you let me know what I'm going to have to do to put it in the 02 2x4 tahoe I have wiring harness from the Denali. What trans would be best over all easier for the swap
It's a direct swap just leave your harness and throttle body and whichever trans you want to use they're the same physically except maybe the neutral safety switch plug

Did you re use the 6.0 flywheel or use the 5.3 flywheel .. just picked up a 6.0 for my 03 .

Now get it to not lift the front wheels. More forward progression.

You have the stock 4l60e ? Planning from v6 to 6.0 lq9 swap my single cab. I have rebuilt 4l60e with 40k cooler not gonna be towing much tho
4l60e will work til it doesn't
What did you do for the throttle sensors? I’m doing a 6.0 swap and my 5.3 is cable and the 6.0 is by wire
Just use the throttle body and wiring off the 5.3 everything interchanges
@@WrecklessGarage alright thanks a lot bro, never done a swap before so I’m confused. And the guy who sold me the motor insists that I need the harness and computer from the 6.0. Nice build tho btw very helpful videos

Good stuff brother.....did you use the harness from the 6.0 or did you use your original harness & ecu then get it tuned? Was the first start up on the original 5.3 tune?
He put harness and pcm from the donor truck in it
What converter you running? It holds thos rpms nice through the gears

Just found your video. The problem with your hydro boost, was tge rod between the booster, and master, was too long. Been there, done that.
I even shortened it lol
