Great video! I just discovered you guys when searching for Bonnet Creek videos recently. Bonnet Creek is my happy place haha. I love your channel. I agree about the elevators. Last year I was trapped in a parking garage elevator for over an hour and had to get rescued by firefighters. It was very hot, scary, and now I am very selective what kind of elevators I ride. No old small rickety or crowded elevators for me. Looks like you guys live in Florida. Stay safe with Hurricane Milton.

I remember when the Latin Gyros place was owned by the Rivera family (Chef Erik) who were distant relatives of mine. Luquillo was a great place to grow up. I also remember using those teeter-totter when visiting my aunt who lived in that apartment complex. Your videos have brought back some nice memories.

Had a blast in Puerto Rico. I was so sad I had to head home early but had an amazing breakfast at Latin Gyros "Ye-row" / "yearo"😆 How do you say it? I normally will say Hero, but of course caught myself saying it with a hard "G" and of course go check out the Gran Bahia not far from the T-Mobile district. The sandwiches were amazing!

We loved our stay at the Airbnb esp. being so close to the beach. Can't wait to get back to Puerto Rico! 😃We will miss the food the most! Eve's Mom had the best skirt steak empanadas I've had on the island. Yum Yum!

BARRACHINA is a fake tourist trap. The piña colada was not invented there. They have lied about inventing the drink for decades to attract cruise tourists. The piña colada was first served at the Caribe Hilton hotel in Condado a whole 10 years before BARRACHINA even served it. In 2004 the government, after much research, issued an official proclamation to the Hilton as the official birthplace. BARRACHINA serves their drink frozen from a machine, that’s not the true drink and there are much better versions all over the island.

We make the oatmeal with milk, sugar, and vanilla. And it is instant oatmeal.

We spend even more time in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico as we go to two well known places in this beautiful city. Yes there are so many amazing locations in Old San Juan. Water shoes definitely recommend for inside the water bello Puerto Rico uhh so many reviews of the first kiosk in luquillo I was so excited and then the alcaptonúrias were like little meat had less then a spoonful of meat all masa the bacalaitos had little to no codfish in it so disappointing so cheap with filling inside empty i radther go to McDonald’s The best rated places are go to Terruño the best La Parrilla the best El Relle-nao sooo good

There was a US navy base in San Juan, the San Juan Naval Air Station in Isla Grande from 1942 and close in the 70's or 80's. Maybe your grandfather was stationed there or maybe he was in Roosevelt Roads in Ceiba. I remember the navy ships like subs, carriers and destroyers going in and out of the harbor.

There are places that you can get a Frozen Mojito. Frozen for real... it has a slushee consistency. Even at Tijuana's Bar and Grill you can get one

Those type of old humvees are purchased by civilians on some auctions. It is legal and street legal to have them

We had such a fun day with Abuelo trying out some local food at Villa Pesquera Cibuco. If you come to Puerto Rico you need to go outside the San Juan bubble. The people are amazing and the food is outstanding. Road trips are a must and it's so easy to meet wonderful people wherever you go. They love showing of their island and they make sure to go out of their way for you to have a good time!
