How to Make Boba Milk Tea Pizookie (Cookie) // Quarantine Cravings
Boba + Milk Tea + Cookie = DIABETES
I hope you are all doing well during this challenging time! I thought I would add a little bit.... actually A LOT of sweetness in your life with this Boba Pizookie!!! I remember the first time I had a pizookie and I went crazy with the sugar intake and I thought why not experiment by combining a milk tea flavor, boba pearls, and Asian inspired ice cream. One bite will give you the energy to do anything you want so definitely share if you plan on trying this out.
Recipe:
I don't really have a set recipe this time but it is pretty simple. Go ahead and follow your favorite chocolate chip cookie dough recipe. Instead of boba you can add cooked boba pearls, substitute it with mochi, or leave it out all together. I love recipes that can be tweaked to my liking so definitely play around with it. Add different tea powders and toppings to make it your own!
I'm going to link my absolute favorite chocolate chip cookie dough recipe that I based this video on. It doesn't look like anything special but the cookies come out soft and chewy with just a little bit of a crisp edge, which I think is the perfect texture.

    My only thing with using just starch compared to using all purpose flour with starch mixed, is that starch gets all soft when you put it in the fridge. Fried chicken with all purpose flour stays crispy.

    love this recipe! what’s a good substitute for some of the ingredients for those who prefer not spicy/mild?

      Thank you! I would say there aren’t really any substitutes but you could definitely leave those ingredients out. You can’t go wrong with just garlic, butter, and a few other ingredients for the shrimp. The end product would just be sweet and savory instead of sweet and spicy!

      wow thank you!! I saw your post and it looks great! It’s definitely not a perfect recipe or exactly identical to the real version, but I tried to make a version that’s easier with natural ingredients. I really appreciate that you took the time to try it anyway, seeing that made my day. Like I mentioned in the video, the ”fake boba” will still get a little hard after freezing but will soften up faster than freezing real boba. I hope you’ll get to try the real version of the boba ice cream bars soon! Have a wonderful day :)

      This was definitely softer than normal ice cream so it wasn’t bad but you just gotta build up your teeth sensitivity haha

    How long did you boil the boba?

      About 5-6 minutes overall. It does depend on the size you make them. When they are all floating then you leave it for about 2-3 minutes. So the time before they are floating may vary.
