Down the memory lane, I remember a platform game I used to play back in 1985, featuring a character using a flamethrower and fighting against bats in a kind of cave. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the game.

I'd ecommend the japan translations. Kurohyou 1 & 2, Valkyria Chronichles 3 Extended, andTag Force 7 Arc-V. But, great list, there are few that include Undead Knights, great game.

I managed to play these games with OpenEmu on Mac, mame 0.251 merged romset (could not find non-merged unfortunately), and looking up game and dependency names and in arcade database. Enjoying them so far! Thanks for this compilation!

Not really agree with this: Hercules (112) must be in the top 50 / TOCA II (111) must be in the top 50 / Medal of Honor (96) must be in the top 20 / NBA live 2003 (95) must be in the top 50 / bloody roar II (88) must be in the top 30 / Broken Sword (67) must be in the top 20 / Driver (65) must be in the top 10 / Silent Hill (62) must be in the top 10 / Crash Bandicoot (34) must be in the top 10. Where are other games like FFIX, FFVIII, FIFA 98, Tony Hawk pro skater III??
