Hey Dan. Just came across your site. I have a 2003 Dodge Caravan. The easy lock is flaky. Works sometimes other times doesn’t. Seems like a weak circuit breaker. I have replaced the circuit breaker on the right side fuse box. Still occasionally does not work. Any suggestions on which circuit breaker should be replaced in the box that feeds the easy lock? It’s a 2 1/2 hour drive to my nearest wheelchair repair place. I was a mechanic so I don’t think I would have trouble replacing the circuit breaker. Just don’t know which one to change and am not physically capable of tracing the circuit. Thank you.

I would like a high powered ejection seat (and pop-out roof) added to the passenger side of my car so I can remove annoying passengers from my car. How quickly can you install this in my car?

American Conversion is so outdated and hideous. In most Asia countries ,these Japanese minivans like toyota alphard, nissan elgrand and honda odyseey have fully automatic entry from the hatch and doesnt need to be lifted like a awful suv crossover lookalike.

How low can the seat go down if it was a 2013 chevy suburban?

We just traded in a 2014 Sienna for a 2023 Sienna XLE fold out ramp. I am a Toyota person, I do know Toyota works closely with Braun to assist in production to be converted, I do not think Honda has that close relationship. Both Should be good vehicles.

Wow - it's hot a a pistol already in Fla. - never seen the pilar plastic melt. A bunch of white cars & garages continue protecting the keepers. It's not a noprimer paint prob, but relatively new Toyotas have the same kinda probs. Might as well be driving on the sun☀️🎶. Good tips, thanks

Side ramp is useless. You will struggle constantly every time you leave the house trying to find parking spots which you can fit in and not be blocked. You will have to park all the way to the left in a parking spot thereby blocking the passanger side of the vehicle in the spot on your left. You will be angering others and racking up door dings on a $100,000 new vehicle. I have a full size GMC Savana van with NO LIFT I transfer in and pull my wheelchair in as I am a low injury para. It is a problem even without a lift to find parking. Don't buy a van with a lift on the side you will regret it.

Well, I'm a wheelchair user who just bought a Traverse. I can drive my Traverse from my chair. I can't do that in the Kia. So, Traverse is a clear winner!

My moms lift won’t lift or fold up. I can here it click when I hit the button but it doesn’t do anything 😫

I ordered a 2023 Traverse 3LT in gray that will finally be fully customized for me to drive next week. The big digital screens in the next model Traverse and in other SUVs like the Telluride look nice, but I see nothing wrong with analog gauges and the Traverse looks better on the outside. Plus the 2023 Traverse has a 6 cylinder engine. Since I'll be driving, that rules out the Telluride anyway. I appreciate the comparison, though. Thanks!

Dan, thanks for your great videos. I want OUT of my Honda Odyssey van with ramp and really want an SUV with this sort of lift behind the drivers seat. I can transfer pretty well into most vehicles, is there a less expensive option than getting the Braun Turny EVO seat? I thought I saw something previously where a board just folds down….Given the cost of modifications (and vehicles), I am trying to find something that suits me but doesn’t add a fortune to it for the mod. Any suggestions? And really appreciate that you do this!

Actually several years ago my wife and I as well as our disabled wheelchair bound son were driving about 5-6 hours to a vacation cabin on the lake when we stopped in a burger joint parking lot for lunch. We made sure to park where we’d be out of the way since all the disabled VAN parking spaces were taken up with non van vehicles like little EV wind up cars. We had our ramp out between us and another car with only just enough space to get the wheelchair off the ramp so my son could go in to the restroom when one of those lead trucks for oversized loaded semi’s (dually pickup 3/4 ton ) came screaming off the main blvd into the lot and threaded the needle in between my vehicle and the one next to us with the ramp down. She literally went thud over the ramp with her drivers side front tire. Stopped with the ramp between the front and rear axels. Of course she heard my colorful language and saw I was having to restrain my wife from snatching her cigarette smoking rear end out through the window. I told her she’d have to go on and go over with the double rear tires because she had zero space to try a 15 point u turn to attempt to get out of the situation without running over it with her double rear tires. So big bump again and she just kept on going without her lunch. Fortunately she forgot she had the business name and # on the rear window in large white lettering for advertising! Didn’t matter because our VMI ramp had no damage. No bends or damage or trouble running through the in/out ramp, door open- close and kneeling cycles! I was astonished. We were lucky that it was unharmed and we could go on for our week at the cabin in the woods without worry that we’d have to pick him up to get in and out. Approximately 200lb with him and wc combined.
