Meal Prep & Work Trip | Regional Airline Pilot | CRJ 7/900
We are going for something a little different here: Meal Prepping 3 of my major meals while traveling for work. In this video, I was currently bulking. The calories shown only added up to about 2200 or so, but I was consuming more food here and there to about 3400 calories for my bulk.
It has become very important to me to be able to share with other how I plan on staying fit and healthy in a job that can so easily bring your health down. Between this video and my last, I got certified as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, as well as a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach.
Mixing health & fitness with flying is the way I want to go about my job from now on and I hope, for anyone who is trying to change habits and do this same, that this is the kind of information and/or inspiration you are looking for moving forward.

Regional Airline Pilot | Staying Fit while on the Road | Commuter
มุมมอง 1.8Kปีที่แล้ว
In this new approach to a video series, I am taking you with me on what a trip looks like as a commuting regional airline pilot, while trying to maintain physical health/fitness. I am aware that some workouts don't have the best of form/timings, however, I am still learning proper ways of exercising without a coach. DISCLAIMER: Workouts are not my own and are followed by a program. Footage of a...
Work-week of a Regional Pilot | CRJ 700/900 | NYC Base

I show you guys what a normal work week looks like for a regional pilot. This Work-week spanned over 4 days with an extra day in the beginning for my commute (which I can mostly avoid and commute in the day of If I'm on Long Call Reserve (LCR). There was an overnight I enjoyed very much, which was the one in Montreal. I was planning on exploring a bit in Pittsburgh, PA. but some rain came in an...

I have an update for you guys: I've moved on to the airlines! at least, in my professional career. Here I explain my journey through getting qualified to becoming an ATP CL-65 rated pilot. @FlyByGarrett 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can't remember exactly what the TAS was in the Meridian. It's been a while. But the Sanford to Lantana flught always clocked in at around 40 or 45 minutes at 7k to 10k feet. The M500 is definitely not nearly as fast as the TBM tho. That is the sports car of turboprops.

    When hired at Delta did they give you a choice of base or did they tell you which base you'd be working? Also the same question regarding the airplane. Did you choose the crj 700/900 or did they tell you, you'd be flying that airplane?

    • @FlyByGarrett
      @FlyByGarrett 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Base and Aircraft are assigned by the company when in the new-hire class. At least in the regionals. In Delta mainline, you put in what you want, and depending on the demand and spots available, you get assigned by the company, but the company ultimately decides where you go and what you fly. Once you gain more seniority, you can change it.

    Wow , great video. It’s by far the best IFR video I’ve seen in a long time. Impressive how far ahead of the airplane you are at all times. You dont see that to often unfortunately. My Cherokee is over at KCEU (Clemson airport ) and I fly that Approach often. Have to love the GFc 500. I have dual G5s and the GFC500 and love it. You had mentioned VNAV issue , I still have a 430W , so I’m not able to use VNAV, but I can tell you that even without VNAV, the AP will try to climb into the GS if your power setting is slightly to low. Unless you’re referring to something different ? You also had the pleasure of talking to the cranky Speed demon Tower controller !!! That guy is terrible. I’ve heard Students pilots get totally confused by him multiple times. Actually had a Cirrus turn into me as I was flying the RNAV 1 approach because he misunderstood the Tower. If you’re ever over by KCEU , let me know.
