En regardant cette vidéo j ai eu le sentiment de revivre ma chute la plus impressionnante sur ce même 1er tronçon de l alpe d huez , il y a 30 ans Pour ceux qui commentent sans jamais l avoir pratiquée , elle très raide , très souvent verglacée et la moindre faute est fatale . Le sentiment que rien ne pourra nous arrêter , surtout pas les jambes , la vitesse que l on prend est importante, ce serait très dangereux ,la seule solution attendre que ça s arrête . Même les plus compétents se font piéger .

Good example of why I would get ahead of those people or plan carefully. People stop at random times, but best way is to continue with your momentum with proper turns instead of fearing the speed. This probably happened because the person in front stopped and tried to stop from hitting them.

Cameras rarely do justice to the steepness of a slope, but then someone falls and you realize it's no joke.

Ce monsieur n'a pas du lire le panneau a l'entree : piste tres difficile (a l'epoque c'etait aussi ecrit "pour tres bon skieur"), meme les gens du coin avec un niveau tres correct ne vont pas dans le tunnel. C'est bien des trucs d'anglo-saxons vos delires... heureusement la biere a 5 euros t'attendait en bas a la Folie Douce, ahah !
