Thank you for doing all this research and making a video about it. I'm sure it will help many people who are planning to go teach in Thailand! Great value. 👍🏼
Thank you so much 🥹 what a beautiful comment ❤️
Beautiful
Thanks for this amazing informational video! 10% discount for the TEFL course is also great, I‘m actually planning to go to Thailand at the end of next year 😍 The outtakes are funny😂
Thank you so much! 😍🤩 wow! I’d love to go with you to Thailand at the end of next year ❤️
Can you do part-time work alongside?
Hello!! 😃 I guess you could!! Depends on how busy you’d like to be. My schedule was roughly 9-5 Monday to Friday so if you’d like to fit more work in around that, it would be up to you. 🤩 most contracts are full time, there are options to volunteer part time though!! Hope that helps 💫
Hey great video! I am looking into getting my TEFL but I also have my associates degree (2 year degree) in general studies. With that and the TEFL combined would I not necessarily need a bachelors to teach? Would I also find a higher paying job with having an associates? Thanks!
Hey!! Thank you so much! 😄 I have just posted another video about this subject which I hope will clear things up. Basically you need a bachelors degree as it’s a requirement for the Thai teaching permit. However there’s also possibility to work as an English teacher on a voluntary basis without a degree. 😍
@ Thanks! I’ll check it out!
Wow Isabel your vedios are beautiful ❤❤
Thank you so much. ❤️
I just emailed your TEFL grantor. Want to be very sure this is acceptable overseas.
Sounds great 😊😍
Is the TEFL 120 hours?
This is not right!! You might not English native speakers but you must be fluent & have NO ACCENT!! Im not racism & not hateful but facts is facts!! Example, there are Nertherland speak English so good & so well but his GRAMMAR (written is lacking) & the way he/she pronounces have strong accents!! Do you think shools or student want to STUDY FROM THIS PERSON?? Theyre student & pay moneys to learn English!! Like you want learn Germany, do you learn it from GERMANY OR LEARN IT FROM A VIETNAMESE PERSON JUST STUDY GERMANY & TEACH YOU?? Im Vietnamese though 🇻🇳 Example, I dont might MEXICAN AMERICAN, INDIAN AMERICAN or CHINESE AMERICAN, KOREAN AMERICAN BORN & RAISE IN US, UK, CAN, they’re speak English from theirs kids & speak it as their first language!! But if theyre INDIAN living in India learn & speak English directly fews years & study aboard in US/UK/CAN college/uni (i mean English country) they still have DAMM THICK ACCENTS!! They might good at writing & grammar but for accents, its still very thick & harshly!! So as people pay for study, any shools or English center hired non English speakers, im dissapoints & wont chose study there!! This have nothing to do with race or nation!! In recent years, alots of people & family, parents is care about this topic!! Before ENGLISH TEACHER IN AROUND ASIA COUNTRY IS EASY, no degrees & no certification teachers!! There is alots of bad & terrible English teacher quality & even commit crimes in their country & run away to Southeast Asia. Fews years ago till now, alots shools is changing & hired teachers with degree & teachers certificate & English native speakers!! Gorvement also have more strict laws about this. If you’re foreign & young & want to teach English in ASIA FOR LONG TERM. I suggest people go bạc to their country for couple years & study in college. In long term it will help you alots!! If you chose stay in Asia country for long years & chose teach English is your career life!! In 5-10y laters, alots Asia will focus & fix this problem & strictly on foreigners English teachers. So alots of English teachers in small English center think dont need degrees & no need to update themselves because they still can find jobs & working as English teachers already. Once day the laws chance & strictly in near future, these type of teachers will get hit & wipe out.
Hi! Thank you for your opinion and point of view. Personally I believe there can be merits to learning a language from a non native speaker as well as from a native speaker. I’m from the UK and there are many different accents spoken by native speakers here. 😄 Thanks again for watching!
Funciona com outro tipo de chá além do preto?
And yes!! There are many different types of tea you can use!
Posso usar uma quantidade menor de açúcar?
Hi lovely! Yes of course you can. However the reason for using sugar is that’s what the bacteria feed of and it makes them produce more bacteria. 🦠 which is great for your gut ! And the taste! But absolutely you can tailor the sugar to how much you’d like.
Hello there Hope to meet you if you come back to Thailand
how would one get work visa permit without bachelor’s degree? is it possible could you explain please.
Hi!! I’m actually making a video which will answer these questions this week. Thanks so much for watching. Basically, if you would like to move to Thailand to teach, then yes it is a requirement that you have a bachelor’s degree for the visa. I will provide more info in the upcoming video. 🤩

Hi dear, I have scheduled an interview with a recruiter from ‘BFITS Thailand’. I am really hoping to land a job in Bangkok. Not only am I absolutely in love with Thailand, but ‘BFITS Thailand’ offers so many great benefits, including the option to work as few as 15 hours a week. I am also part of the LGB community, and from what I have researched, Bangkok’s gay scene is incredible. Fingers crossed for the job ❤️❤️💛💚💙💜
Hiii! Oh amazing!! That all sounds really exciting! I wish you the best of luck with it 🥰💫 Bangkok is amazing and you will absolutely LOVE it there!! Soooo much going on all the time 💚💛🧡❤️🩷💙
Beautiful, thank you . Where is that summit on 3:15? Looks like an easier climb than Ben Nevis, maybe my goal for next year.
Thank you so much for watching!! The summit is called Creag Bheag. It’s a really beautiful walk up through the forest just off of the Main Street in Kingussie. There are many nice spots to sit and admire the views.
Thank you for nice video. Is the climb worth it? YES it is. I did it twice, 25 years ago and last month. 👍👍👍
Oh amazing! Great to hear some feedback 😍
Thank you for the help!
So happy you found it useful 😍
is there any chance of getting a teaching job (english) for indians? undergrads?. kindly share🙏
Absolutely!! With a undergraduate bachelor in any field, some great websites to check for jobs are Love TEFL jobs.com and global work and travel ☀️
Awesome ❤

Thank you for the great demo 😊 Did you use the whole brick? I usually use 2 boxes of shop bought dye and am wondering how much I would need 🥰 (your mom's hands 😆)

dead wrong. you dont need a TEFL, you DO need a degree to get a work permit in teaching
*If you want to teach English as a foreign language most employers expect it, you also are more likely to be on a higher salary.💫
@@ishbelrose it's illegal
What’s illegal?
To get a work permit to teach in Thailand you need a degree. You can find work without a work permit but if you get caught you can be deported or worse and refused reentry. A TEFL is not a necessity. To teach legally, a degree is. End of
@@ishbelrose working as a teacher in Thailand without a work permit, for which a degree is a legal requirement. Seriously, you shouldn't be advising people. You have a duty to know the facts.

How can you get a job without bachelor degree?
Unfortunately the Thai government made it a law for visas that if you wish to teach English and work in a school you must have a bachelors degree. It wasn’t always this was but it is a new thing. Hope that helps! 💫
Thank you so much ❤️
Anytime 😍
Is Level 5 TEFL enough to get a job in Thailand, or do I need a degree as well? I’m just unsure about all the requirements for teaching English in Thailand. Some people say that TEFL Level 5 is not enough. Please can you advise me on this. By the way you have a beautiful voice.
Hi Paul thanks for your comment!! 💫 to work as an English teacher in a state/ private school it’s required that you need a degree (in any field) and a TEFL certificate (120 hrs is the pretty standard one). I believe you need the degree for visa purposes too (kind of a tick box thing). I am going to make another video all about other requirements to teach there very soon. 🤩
Hey thanks for making this video. Asking for a friend, if you have a criminal record in your home country, would this prevent you from getting work?
Hi! Yeah it would, as you’re working closely with children it’s required that you have an international child protection certificate (basically proof of a clean record) and local police check certificate.
@@ishbelrose That makes sense, thank you for answering and sharing your experiences :)
Hey, are you still teaching, and what were the downfalls if you are not teaching anymore? Thank you so much
Hi!! I’m currently not teaching at the moment, thanks so much for your question, I’m actually just making a video all about this and I’ll definitely be answering this question in it. 😍

any schools in bangkok hiring without TEFL...but with a bachelor's degree from USA university...?
Thanks for the Question! Not that I know of :) you can also apply if you have a teaching qualification or degree in education for the position of a primary, secondary or kindergarten teacher. (This wouldn’t require a TEFL qualification) it’s only required if you’d like to teach English. 😄

Dear Ishbel Thanks for you effort. I send an e mail to Green Travel with your suggestion. They replied I must carry US,UK vs. passport. However, if I am not wrong you mention that people don’t need to be native. On behalf of you I just want to ask how Turkish learn fluent English even I had English Literature lectures like Shakespeare, Charles Dickens or Charlotte Bronte and more.. and I travelled 65 countries and lived in Serbia, Nigeria, in Chicago for business administration Master degree, Ghana, Etophia more than 15 years and do international trading so I am not only compatible with Engineering English (my BS’c Mech.Eng.) I have competence on international law, banking and more. I believe this is positive discrimination and my advise is to correct your video cause dreaming and hoping is every humans right. Thanks
Thank you so much for your comment!! I really appreciate it and thank you for pointing out something I didn’t think about. Of course it was never my intention to offend anyone and I do plan in the future to update the video. I wasn’t aware greenheart travel only accept certain passports. As I am from the UK I only searched for UK companies. I completely agree with you and believe that anyone can teach English if it’s their passion. Thanks again!
Well, the mountain ❤️and the views are breathtaking indeed
Looks amazing, I didn’t know it is the highest mountain in the uk 😮! How long did it take exactly?
Thank you so much for watching! 💫 it took Just under 3 hrs to get up (it’s quite rocky and uneven) but quicker to come down 2hrs 30mins on the way back. So roughly, allowing time for a short pause 6hrs all together. 🙌
