Sorry this happened to you. The bait and switch is common in car and house rentals too. Thank you for dealing with these abusive "brokers". These people have always been around and now that the economy is worse and refugees are renting out a lot of places, they increased.
Thank you for being honest.

Hello, thank you for your video it was so helpful, I just renewed my tourist visa for 6 months for me and my wife and it was exactly as you explained, I have a question I did not renew for my kids as they are under 16 as you mentioned, so it’s really legal to not renew kids’s tourist visa? I won’t get any problem if I want to change to a work visa for my whole family?
Awesome! I'm happy to hear that. Yep, your kids are riders until they turn 16. Unfortunately, I don't know how it works with a work visa.
No offence lady but we are talking about In Public Transportation in 34 degree heat with heavy humidity! Y’all can’t be serious 😅 try LONDON tube in the summer, this ain’t just an Afrikan thing. Don’t think she’s well travelled, bless her!!

Hi we want to start learning a lot more to help plan our move are you open to chatting
@@noegayle1 Hi. Please email me at info@sadesojourns.com.
You look too Tanzanian. You could easily tell people, that you are just a spoiled kid of Tanzanian parents born abroad, and nobody will think otherwise. In Tanzania, personal character matters not skin color or being foreigner. We even call Albinos Zungu, it doesn't mean to offend anyone. Americans must know that, here in Tanzania people mostly actually DON'T know the mistreatment black people are undergoing across America. We have no history of racial segregation, so we don"t know how it is like. Even those caucasions when they come to Tanzania, they are too kind and don't act crazy.
Spoiled kid of Tanzanian parents born abroad." Love it. 😂🤣 Thank you for your comment.
FACTS!!
Do you worry about moving your son around too much ? I’m thinking about taking a job abroad again, but have a sense of guilt :/
I did at first, but now, no. They adapt quickly and actually prefer traveling.
Hi do they check id? I bought tickey by wrong name and i dont know if it is problem😊
1. ADDRESS: It doesn't make sense AT ALL considering you were coming from the airport to possibly the hotel. Unless your hotel was in deep unorganized neighborhood that I don't think the foreigner can go there; your problem wasn't address but drivers who don't how to read the map. I live in a completely local poor neighborhood but still one can come up to my place with google map! Few days ago I went to see my uncle living in a middle income neighborhood but almost 2km off the main road but I easily got there with Bolt! 2. TOILETS: Depend though majority, especially in households are squats, and YES, squats have no covers. 3. Overcharged- YES, if you're foreigner there's a great chance you'll overcharged especially when buying stuff from street vendors 4. Time Management- YEAH, it's a problem but time management isn't some black thing?! I dunno, but heard somewhere that in America you have what's so-called Colored People's Time but though it's Colored People, the target is African Americans! Is it a lie or we're just too much compared to you?! 5. NOTHING gets done on time: That's exaggeration, and you know it! How many hours were you waiting for the UBA, and why did you had to wait that long when you had option to cancel?! OH! Let me guess... every UBA or Bolt you requested was like the ones before them; right?! 6. MZUNGU?????!!!! C'mon Girl, don't use one or two occasions to generalize everything!! The way you look, you're 100% like a TANZANIAN- ask anyone! So, how can anyone call you Mzungu?! How does it start?! MZUNGU is a exclusively for a WHITE PERSON, and though some foreigners think it's derogatory word; IT IS NOT. Mzungu is a formal word for a White person with European origins- White Europeans, White Americans and Canadian, New Zealanders and the Aussies! Arabs aren't called Whites but by their race- Waarabu! You'll occasionally hear MTASHA which's a slang word for Mzungu but also not derogatory. The word Mzungu is not used even to light skins unless you're too while that people fail to distinguish if you have African genes! For a Black Girl like you people will always call you Sister or Aunt, the same as we call ourselves. But for a White, especially if you walk in street and those crazy boys wanna call you, they'll definitely call you Mzungu but a Black Girl/Guy, I don't know in which situation can one call you Mzungu while even biracial if necessary, s/he'll be called CHOTARA or SHOMBE though Chotara is too formal that means hybrid and Shombe being biracial- nilikuwa na mtoto fulani hivi SHOMBE/SHOMBESHOMBE, mkali ile mbaya = I was with a very beautiful BIRACIAL chick! 7. Police Corruption: Yeah, you're not alone sis... it sucks!!
Thanks for watching. 🙂
PIN THIS ASAP 📌
As I previously stated, nothing you or anybody else says will CHANGE what I experienced or make me CHANGE what I said. Thanks for watching, though.
I think culture shock is perfectly normal, but what you do after having a new experience that is what matters. I don't expect to travel to the new country or continent and find all same things that we do in my country. I am sorry for such an unpleasant experience you had while in Tanzania ( Dar es Salaam) to be more specific. The use of tissue sounds unclean here especially in the coastal regions. Words like MSWAHILI, MZUNGU etc might sound discriminating but at times they may be a complement it depends on the context. They can also be used as a joke.
Thanks for watching.
