Selling my DT125R with Athena 170cc big bore kit and a LOT of Titanium parts
มุมมอง 2Kปีที่แล้ว
So I've done all the development work I wanted to do to my DTR125. I bought the bike to tape parts off, model them in CAD and have Titanium replica parts made to sell on the store. I bought it in 2020 in the lockdown and haven't really had time to ride it much. All the parts I've had made are on the bike and the bike runs really sweetly. Recently I geared the front sprocket up 1 tooth as it was...
Third flight DJI FPV in a field near Trimpley reservoir, Worcestershire.
มุมมอง 362 ปีที่แล้ว
So I crashed the drone on the second flight which was because I pressed return to home which means it returns to the start position and is accurate to several metres. The trouble was I set it off quite close to my office building. As it returned it turned to orientate itself and descended. But the sensors didn't pick up the building which was now behind it so I'm guessing it clipped the gutteri...
DJI FPV drone my first flight
มุมมอง 362 ปีที่แล้ว
So I finally got the FPV drone working after so many technical issues. It was such a pain I came very close to sending it back to Amazon. It was the little things that made it difficult to use. Like you have to press the power button each device. Then press again for a couple of seconds to start it, or turn the device off. I accidentally set the language as Chinese in the goggles so had to watc...

Hello, I would like to know if the 170cc cylinder can be installed on the Yamaha 125 dt
It can.
I have had 4 DT125R s , the stock down pipe is good enough, as long is it’s full power, I had one with a restricted pipe , I didn’t know what was wrong with one of my bikes I thought it had a electrical fault but it was the pipe

I had 4 of them back in day, right bikes
Do you have a link to the, it's exactly what I'm looking for thank you.

Nice.... where can one acquire one of these adapters? Looking at Titan, not on the website. edit: Looks identical to the Laser 7244.
Here's a link titanclassics.com/product/stainless-piston-cap-tool/ Glad you like it🙂
Thanks for that. I have titanium glasses frames and was wondering how much they could take. I also use to have several wire bending machines in our business before retiring. so yours was interesting. I like how you clamp it.
it would be cool if you tried to bend the wire by your hand just to see how strong it is 🤓
Hi do you have a link for the reeds? Cheers
Do I need to replace the seals if the caliper is brand new ?
What’s the price on it mate
£3200
Cool bike! Did you happen to see if the OEM head would fit on the Athena cylinder? Is the bolt pattern the same?
1700cc good luck!
Brake calipers are unsprung weight I presume? So the weight saving has no effect on the suspension but it’s even more critical for direct changes.
If you made one for the Gen 1 Hayabusa I’d definitely have one!! 👍🏻
Just received mine for the rear calliper on my Suzuki. The kit is great, comes with titanium everything!! 👍🏻
were is your dtr
you know what would be cool, hooking a computer up to it and getting the wires bent fully automatic for ya, only a welding job after that. i bet even this tiny guage, if its dense enough you could make a car with it. just lots and lots of em 4 cm apart or something.
watch out this is really dangerous!!! try aluminium wire its alot kinder on the hands and fingers!
I’ve been flying GPS/camera drones for a long time and the purchase of the DJI FPV was a game changer. It’s a whole different style of flying. I’m glad I invested in it. I’ve been having a lot of fun capturing fast pace footage. Buying the DJI FPV drone was a better option for me than buying a traditional FPV drone. DJI has reliable safety features. Enjoy ✌️😎
It is really cool yes! I did crash it on the 2nd flight though. It was kind of my mistake in that. I set it down about 2 metres from the front of the building. Flew it about and pressed the Return to home button. But, I forgot that it's accurate to a couple of square metres and as it hovered to land it turned with it's back to the building and when landing I think the rotors clipped the guttering of the building and fell about 30 feet to the floor :/ I think the sensors being at the front didn't pick up the guttering and stop. I'm a bit upset as it's scratched a bit but it's not properly damaged so I'll get flying again but in a wide open space. I noticed I could fly around the compound of my offices but it wouldn't fly over the road of the industrial estate which I'm guessing is to do with laws about flying anything over 250gm drones over people and populations. It is totally cool though. :D
@@titanclassicsltd5430 sorry to hear about the accident. You live and you learn. Yes, it has No Fly Zones built into the software. It’s like hitting an invisible wall. Be safe ✌️
brother. amazng - all the best. 🖖
Did you get a full kit there? I'm hoping you got a small end bearing, gaskets, power valve seals etc etc?
yeah, full kit. Small eng bearings, gaskets etc
Hi, I own a GSXR 750 W from 1993 and I found this TITANIUM Suzuki fitting swingarm nut on your website, as the description fits this model, Do you ship to Portugal? how much? I also need the suzuki fitting swingarm bolt, do you have it? Thanks, Paulo🙂
Πόσο κοστίζει το kit ?
I've been searching the internet trying to find a way to bend nickel titanium wire, to make fishing lures. They already exist (especially years ago) but they are very durable and last forever. Marketing wise I see why they nearly stopped. But apparently they don't care about customer satisfaction. But I'm happy I came across this! If anyone knows how to permanently make a bend in nickle titanium wire, just leave a suggestion.
For Eric, I’m using titanium wire for inline spinners. Not sure what wire is in this video, but my wire cannot be bented permanently. You can coil 2,3 times around finger and goes back straight once release.
hmmm what is the smallest radius loop it can make with 2mm stainless steel wire? ,,,surely that is a question for the vendor... but always good to hear it from one who has tested it!
Yep would really liked to have actually received the order.
Hi Richard, I've had no end of your titanium products for lots of different motorcycles, I have a mc21 and would be interested in a titanium kick start.
I'm looking into making (bicycle) light mounts from stainless rod, suitably bent, so this was really interesting ! Thanks.
do you need to uppgrade the crankshaft or can you use the original one?
nah, no need to upgrade the crankshaft. It's just a top end kit. To be honest when riding it there's not as much top end power, just a bit more grunt from lower down the rev range
Athena sais it should give +4 in dt125 and +8 HP on tzr in top with stock 28mm carb. If you feel no difference then they lied
We would like to see a video of how the motorcycle was with the Athena cylinder change. Thank you
170cc for 560€+ carburettor 38+exhaust from Portugal+ cdi from mr borut = 29hp in wheel

Nice tool looks very pro. Does it fit a Suzuki gsr 600 2010
U wil need boyson reed valve of V-force reed , modify the side of the airbox , u wil need a 270 main jet and a 22,5 sit jet U wil also need te modify the original intake plastic u need to cut the 4 plastic bits of wil increase the power !
U wil not be happy with this exhaust , if have full tuned my engine and the 125cc dep exhaust is not good for the 170cc ports , u wil have full power on 7k rpm . I ordered a custom hand made hand made Portugal exhaust made for the ports of the 170cc . But I u want te ride slow the 125cc dep exhaust is stil perfect .

You should of fitted the bottom ring on first your very lucky you didn't snap one

How's the bike mate
It was awesome after I got it tuned. I can't remember the power. I think it was something like 24horse power at the wheel but it would wheelie like mad. I've since sold the bike
I m getting my top end ported
Hi there, I brought one of your titanium kits for my DT125 front brake, very impressed so far! Quick question when removing the original outer flexible dust seal from the piston it contains a circular metal clip. Could I confirm if I need to use this on the piston dust seal you included in your kit? Thanks
Yeah use the spring clip. I think I reused the clip when I did my DT125. For some reason when I buy the seals from my supplier they don't come with that metal clip. Glad you like the parts :)
@@titanclassicsltd5430 Thanks will do! i'm hoping to get some more of your bits for the DT when finances allow ;-) particularly the wheel spaces but these have been out of stock for a few weeks :-(
@@rdom4256 Ahh that was because one of the spacers was wrong so I had to bin them and have another run of them made. Should be ready in a couple of weeks hopefully
@@titanclassicsltd5430 That's a pain but better to be safe than sorry ;-)
@@titanclassicsltd5430 Got the clip installed :-) slight issue with the bleed valve as the threads are too wide for the hole, i've checked and the original bleed valve fits fine, can you advise? My bike is a 1998 DT125R
where is your link ? You should be able to make a link to this and anyone who uses your link and purchases it you can make a small percentage from driving traffic to sell this item .
Love the bike 👌🏽with the 170cc kit do they give a rough estimate what jets you’d need to jet the carb to or will you be taking it to a dyno to get it tuned? With the exhaust when I had my full power k reg dt125r there was no better front pipe than the standard the aftermarket ones played about with the power curve even jetted there was no low down power power band was 2500rpm on Std front pipe the various aftermarket ones I tryed changed the band to 4000 they were junk never tryed the dep expansion front pipe......god I miss not having my dtr one of my regrets in life was selling it wish I had a spare couple of grand

Hi, nice tool, any chance you have one floating around? You site says put of stock. thanks
yeah, they're in stock now. I've made them a bit shorter as 70mm depth is total overkill. I think they're about 45mm deep now which still plenty deep. titanclassics.com/product/suzuki-swingarm-tool-in-stainless-steel/
Lovely
The main points of having Titanium bolts is because they are around 45 % lighter than steel and don`t corrode
